How atr you Venting Cab and light using a blower?

I'm using a Stanley blower about the same as the 256 dayton, and currently have the cooltube hooked up to my blower intake blowing thru a carbon filter, is this what you guys are doing?

usually growers that air cool a light will opt for two fans,one to cool the light via the lights own passive intake (a length of ducting from outside the grow to inside the grow and connected to the lights hood) and active exhuast while the grow area is ventilated by it's own designated active exhuast and passive intake(s).This way a grower can make the decision if he/she wants to add Co2 and place the fan on a timerr to vent the room every 5 minutes.

The second way is place the exhuast fan so it is sucking air through the cool tube and pushing air into some ducting that leads outside of the grow.In this scenario you would have the carbon filter on the opposite side of the fan on the cool tube so the air is being sucked into the filter over the light and exits odorless or you could place the filter outside the grow on the exhuast end of the ducting.

Yea i kinda have it like number 2, pulling air off light blowing into carbon, think i might check on small bath fans to exhaust air out of the top of the grow area, maybe above the light?

449 cfm going out the closet and through a wall does exhaust, and passive intake

Well if I were you I would go ahead and drill a hole the size of the ducting in one of the walls of your grow so that you are bringing in fresh air which never gets into the actual grow it just comes in through the ducting over the light and out the grow throguh more ducting where the exhuast/ventilation fan would need to be powerful enough to handle the backpressure created by a carbon filter.

You see the air that cools the bulb never gets a chance to interact with the odors outside the cooltube so therefore that air does not need to be scrubbed/cleaned but the air that is being exhuasted from your grow needs to be cleaned other wise it's going to reak!

I just finished my c-24 and I use a daystar ac reflector with a vortex 449cfm fan for exhaust. intakes are four 4" holes on back. with the reflector's glass off there was a 9 degree temp difference between the cab and ambient temps with the glass on the difference is only 4 degrees
