i just put up fly strips those bastards were invading my grow i did notice itty bitty little black flies on the strips also
The tiny black ones are probably fungus gnats. They lay eggs in yer soil and the larvae mature when the soil is watered. They can reproduce fast and are more a nuisance than anything else. The larvae eat fungus (and the surrounding root hairs) under the soil. There are lots of threads for fungus gnat remedies here. Try an advanced search by title.
