Has anyone grown with house and garden nutrients from netherlands ??suposed to be the best ....I am doing a run side by side with cutting edge and H&G....already in week 3 of bloom...so will start the chart from week 3 including aqua flakes A&B, Bud XL ,Top Booster,drip clean and multi enzyme...they also have a top shooter but it says you can't use it in a system wthout drain ( recirculating) and can't use with air pump in res or on flood tables ....so I can't use this...besides the top shooter says its used in the last three weeks and dosen't explain how easy it is to flush or anything like that ......anyone know about these nutes ???

watch out for mg def with the aqua flakes

i use aarde 2 part with everythin' else. blew CES out of the water...but humtea still rules.

I will watch for that mg def .How often did you use the humtea ???I used it through bloom with a regular flush 14+ days seemed to take the plants longer to cure and taste right.But after cure ,I like the outcome. trying this time with no humtea and no plant amp.....just uncle johns....just seeing how different the taste with and without certain additives.I like the taste with everything ,no humtea (I am sure strain comes into play and style of grow Hydro or Bio).Plus its hard to store ...you basicaly have to get it fresh within 48 hrs or it spoils.I grow in hydro and they say you are suposed to hang some coco mat or something for the benys to live in.....who knows but I am going to give this H&G a run next to the CES and see what happens.

i just use humtea for foliar spraying, i've never fed it to my plants.

i don't use anything else from them.

I basically use

Metanaturals 4 part
FF Big Bloom
Dark Energy

I picked up some of there nutes at a trade show....I have only used the top shooter so far and my plants liked it better than monster bloom plus it has a fiz to it.I got so much stuff that kind of hard to go through it all.....let me know how the other stuff works out for you......I got the soil mix so im interested in how good the hydro stuff works.

They hydro. Stuff is for one time use… spray and drain off..

The air pump issue is only when you’re using the roots Excalibur (first weeks of growing) As the organisms in it will basically just die faster..
Another words.. The air pump adds oxygen and then the roots Ex goes threw its life cycle super fast.. you can use an air pump just let it be known that this expensive stuff doesn’t get a chance to really work as long as it should. You will have to add a lil bit more in the middle of the week.. And no I asked. It doesn’t work better if you air pump it…

So basically while using roots Excalibur no air pump just a water pump to keep it mixed..

Any other time air pump is ok…

The shooting powder it says not for use in recirculation systems however that means for like coco and other reused media where the nutes aren’t just in a bucket but filter threw your media... As it will be in the media for future and just keep building up till media full of this stuff...

If yall could see a few nutes.. head to head,. what would they be..

I have just recently started using the coco a&b from H&G. Goona be interesting to see the results, cause I'm still runnin a few plants with organics and GH floranova series.

You can't use an air stone with the coco nutes either, and I'm pretty sure you shouldn't use one with their other nutes and additives either. I used to bubble everything(organic habit) while the nutes were in a bucket to be used later, and I found that even the Floranova series seems to stay mixed better when an airstone isn't used.

I just ordered the shooting powder, and the top booster. Too broke for the bud-xl, but thats next on my wish list.

Keep us posted on your findings, as I hope to do the same.

what i said above was direct from a HG rep...aperently they are updating there stuff to reflect that..

ya i dont know i dont think i would use an airpum.. just a water pump and maybe let it infuse a lil air in there..

if my airpump craps out in dwc my plants suffer almost rite off..
yet they say dont use an air pump for that time.. so does the waterpump just by having a surface area get enough o2 in there.. or what am i missing..

It's not a top brand, but I wish there was some more information on the Cornucopia Plus line of ferts. It's not a huge brand but I've heard really good things about it, I'll be using it on my grow but I've got nothing to compare it with so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

a friend of mine uses them and I just started ... supposedly they kick ass

the deal with the air pumps is ..... the guy orginally testing the nutes somehow f***ed up the grow and H&G reps figured it was his air ... so they started saying don't add air, but it turns out the guy was just a bad grower and you SHOULD use air, cos in Europe they do flood to waste and don't recirculate - here in the US we do, so you DO need to add air ... I nearly killed all my plants a few days ago not adding air in a recirculating e/f system. The only time you're not supposed to add air is with the shooting powder at the end and I'm not sure about that. My friend adds air all the time and he gets the absolute best buds I've ever seen, with the most crystals. He griows on coco mats, ebb and flow.

also maybe true re not using the shooting powder in recirculating systems cos you're supposed to use them the last 3 weeks but my friend complains the plants only last a week when he uses it, so that'a probably why. I guess hand watering them the last 3 weeks - like flood to drain - is an option.

Ha! I used to promote House & Gardens nutes at OG, and those threads never took off. People didn't even know what I was talking about.
My grow pimp ran House & Gardens complete line in his growroom a couple of years ago.
Since he runs a growshop and often order new products, he tries them out on his own plants.
I remember him saying that in terms of growth and yield they were equal to General Hydroponics and Advanced Nutrients, but in terms of smell, aroma and crop quality, they were superior.
I also remember holding the top shooter in my hand, concidering trying it out (they promise 30% yield increase in their ads), but it was the most expensive bloom booster I've ever come across and I'm such a cheap fuck.

My man said it sells well and clients come back for more.

I talked to a friend recently and he simply raved about their Roots Accelerator product. It's very pricey, $114 for 12 oz at the local store, but supposedly is absolutely awesome. He said no matter what the growing conditions there's always vigorous, plentiful white roots, no pythium, algae control, etc. Him and his friends are mainly using in DWC and results are astounding. I'm not going to use this cycle but am setting up a test grow area in my flower room and will give it a shot next time around.
