Horseshoe root on newly planted seed?

Would a taproot that grows out of the ground in a loop fix itself or do I need to try to help it? The seed was soaked for a few hours then put into the coco coir then it is now a fee days later and all I see is a horseshoe loop put of the coco coir. It comes up about 1/3 inch then back down into the coco coir on there.

Would you try to fix it or do you think it will fix itself on there?

The quicker the better.

If it's not growing back into the seed coat just bury it a little deeper or sprinkle media on it and water it in a little.

If it's growing back into the seed coat try to coax it out with a needle threaded through the horseshoe and pull gently with the side of the needle.
