Well after my male I havent really put any seeds in to germinate, been sad

My question is I plan on germinating about 10 seeds (well atleast have 10 seeds pop) and I am going to put them all in starter cups and put em under my 70 watt HPS. Plz dont tell me to go get better lights, it is the best I can do with my living situation, bills, job, heat while away at job, etc.


I plan on starting my seedlings till about then 2nd internode and then I am going to put them straight into 12/12 flowering.


Do you think if I do 10 plants from seedling to 12/12 would I have ok yeild 4 my 70 watter. Thank you

70W? Your kidding. I have a 100W light bulb in a lamp and it barely lights up the room.
Get a florescent shop light or something. You are basically growing with a lamp.

Don't bash the guy. Out of 10 seeds some might never sprout, others could turn out to be runts and others again will most likely be males. I would definitely say go for it - sprout 10 and then just select the 3-4 most promising females.

Kaleem - Like i said in my post dont tell me to go get other lights. I have enough lights if I need to ill throw my 4x 42watt CFLS in with my 70HPS. BTW before the male was a male my 70 watter actually surprised me, because of the design of my grow room and how the actual grow room can grow with the plant if you think right.

darkcore yeah I hear you on that one you do have a point but i think 10 plants will be ok till they start to reveal their sex.

extremely potent btw made out of the leaves no stems or stalks, saving those for another alcohol extraction. wondering if stem hash gets u higher than leave hash.

yes u can and you should try and get as mch light to your kids as you can. just remember there isnt anything as too much light at the rate your going. i have a 4 ft 70w floresant that i start my seeds under and after 15 days or so or after the first transplant I move them under my 400w mh till there done. gl

sounds like your cab is small.....(heat problems with a 70W), if you do add those CFL's keep an eye on the heat cause they sure arent gonna lower the temps. But im gonna have to agree with blackone and say sprout more than youll need and keep the best 3-4

Also since your flowering so early maybe you should take a look at the 12/12 from seed thread around these parts, maybe there is something in those tons of pages that can help ya out.....or you can buy the "12/12 From Seed Thread on Tape".....just send me 20 bucks.....jk

i dunno how your lights are positiont have you thought about doing a vertical scrog? like instead of haveing the light "lay flat" against the top of your cab...have it go "up and down" so light can shine all around it...and add the cfls to the top. as the buds grow towards the light put some chicken wire around the light and train them to stay back far enough ut let the buds grow threw.

the only problem id see with 10 plantrs under a 70 watter is light penetration. how far away are you gonna be able to put them before they stop recieveing enough light? trust me you want plenty of light cuz if you dont your buds will be tiny

unfortunately i dont remmber the link that had it but i know its in this micro grow forum..you can use the search functin..plus most of my ideas are still stored in my mind. im going to be doing it when my current bulb goes out. i wanna get either another 150 or a 400 and hang it in the center of my cab and have the buds fill a screen around it
