Hooking a sealed cabinet into my apartment's central AC

My cabinet will sit right underneath a venting duct. I could easily take off the vent grill and duct right into a sealed cabinet.

All I would hvae to do is get an upgraded thermostat which I could digitally program to turn on air at certain times every day. The only downside I see that I will waste some power using as for the whole house and not just a cabinet.

Anyone see any other potential issues?

Crap. Since the air supply going into the ac unit is in another room, I think I would be forcing new air into the cabinet, which would not be a good idea.

You could always manually shut off the vents in the other rooms when you aren't there. It won't totally cut them off, but it will help a lot. You running a carbon filter? A/C line in, vent out thru exhaust to carbon filter. I don't see the prob. When the a/c is off you will just let your exhaust fan run, and as long as its sealed the negitive pressure will not allow any stink back into the intake (a/c line)

get my drift homie?
