hood vent? exhaust vents?

without trying to go into great detail my cab or box is almost finished and I'm in the last parts the intake being one of them .. I need to have 2 more 6" holes for my passive intake they will go on a side of the cab that is about 6" from the rooms wall where there is a register vent to pull cold air into the closet into the cab . It's a straight 6"gap from wall register to intake holes . My concern is light leaks (into the cab). The six inches doesn't give me enough space to connect a few 6" 90s to solve this .
while looking around home depot I found these hooded exhaust vents with a freemoving damper

I was wondering does anyone have any experience with these the hooded side would have to be on the inside of the cab does anyone think they would reduce airflow ? And if i painted them black between that and the damper and some black pantyhose stretched across for a filter and light block solve any light leak in issues ? My other small question is my exhaust duct is insulated but only 3 ft from cabs roof to celing where its being exhausted into the attic . My inline fan is 315 cfm I'm wondering how loud it will be with just have a 6" take off collar , hat collar wherever you call it connecting the insulated duct to the celing ( the air movement not vibrations) . Should I use some sort of chimney cap in my attic over the exhaust hole to quote this ? Or maybe a 6" to celing/wall register ?

I welcome all tips and advise to solve this problems
thanks in advanced
