hood filter fan?????

Hello,
I'm setting up another tent, this time I'm using his instead of led.
I have a six foot tent, blockbuster 6" hood, phresh filter and a can fan max.
With the hood being so big I was thinking I could put the filter outside the tent. Hood - ducting inside, filter - fan outside. Will this work?

The filter wont work outside of the tent unless its on the exhaust side. But with this setup you should be able to find a spot for the filter on the intake side, which is ideally what youd want, on the inside of the tent with a negative pressure setup.

Filter>>>Hood>>>Fan on outside of tent>>>exhaust>>>

Now you can run it how you want it, (minus the filter on intake) but if a concern is stink, make damn sure your ducting is leak free and everything is tight if the filter is going to be on the exhaust end.
