Honey water to root clones?

ive worked in several permaculture orchards and willow water is used above all else

Interesting....

I used honey water for some clones and after 3 days, they are doing awesome. No wilting whatsoever even with dome off. RH is 74% and temp is 28 degrees.

In my experience honey is used to seal the clone into the plug. Honey is antimicrobial, and antibacterial so it helps the clones in that sense. I have seen AG practice of dipping clone in honey and then dipping honey into cinnamon. Cinnamon does act as a rooting hormone
