Honey Oil Brownies

wow!! that does sound scumptious!!! (your plants and the brownies of course). wouldnt you replace a portion of the oil withthe canna oil though. for example, you mix the recipe as usual, and if the recipe calls for , lets say, 3/4 cups of oil, you would use 1/4 cup canna oil and 2/3 cup regular oil. since that oil is some strong stuff, you wouldnt want to use too much i dont think.

you probably could just mix it in regularly like you would with kif... this is only a guess though.

Thats alot of oil! I dont have the recipe for oil brownies BUT I made some kickass brownies today with a 1/2 cup canna butter. WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO

you should definetly not eat brownies with honey oil in them. eating butane is a really bad idea.

smoking butane is a bad idea too. This is why purging the butane OUT of the oil before using it is the most important step.
I think the toughest part about making brownies with honey oil would be the oil's consistency. Properly made n purged oil should be fairly hard, and will stick together and not mix in well. If I were to make brownies with BHO, I would approach it one of two ways. Either:
Heat a small ammount of the cooking oil/vegetable oil, and mix in the honey oil with it, until it is evenly distributed through the cooking oil OR (most likely what I'd do) thin out the honey oil with a small ammount of alcohol, then add it to the brownie mix. This will distribute the hoil through the mix nicely, and since achohol evaporates at a lower temp than water, most of the alcohol will cook off while baking.
I would think 1-2 grams of BHO would be enough fro a strong batch of brownies. Just guessing here.

my 2 cents - oil is far too wonderful a smoking product to be wasted on a cooking endeavor... the only 2 reasons i see using hoil in a recipe would be if your oil came out unfavorably, or if you wanted to reduce the taste present in your batch.

personally id go with herb or hash dissolved in butter like i always do.. ive made batches that the doses are simply too strong on i.e. one half ounce of bubble hash to one pound of butter. strongest edibles ive ever made.

have you ever made honey oil? i have made it tons of times and I ALWAYS purge it but I KNOW there are still traces of butane still in it. I don't really care about smoking it because i smoke with a butane lighter but eating it?? no way man. butane has crazy shit it in. burning it off is one thing and eating it is totally different. the best thing to do when eating cannabis it is make high grade dry sieve and mix it in some butter. eating butane is retarded i can't believe a med club would sell people food with butane in it. i hope they are using budder or something made by a chemist and not a stoner with a pvc honey oil tube and some low grade butane.

^^Yes many times, I started with ISO which is obviously inferior and moved to making BHO a couple years ago. I always use triple refined butane, from what ive read a few people have done lab testing and none of the higher quality butanes used left any nasties behind. I vape my bho outa a lil contraption with a titanium pad, works like a charm.
