If stealth wasn't important for me i would get one of those. Easy to move. I've taken apart a c22 before it sucks.

$299.95 :yoinks: ...for the same price you could have 3 C24's ! :woohoo: haha
they need to come way down in price if they expect to sell .
best regards

the smaller one which measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 6 7" is only 199.99 which is about 11 square ft. I dont know about anybody else but by the time I bought the cab and the fittings for vents and intakes, caulking, hole saws to cut the intakes, weatherstriping and other ods and ends I definately spent more than 200.00 bucks and only have half the room. plus the fact that if someone finds out you can tear that thing down in 20 mins without destroying it. so I would say that the tent is definately a better deal than a c-24

The ease to dissassemble in a hurry is worth that amount. Anyday of the week.

yeah I've seen this too, great idea, especially since you can take it down in a matter of minutes. But yeah waay too much money, greedy.

couldnt you make one for way cheaper?

My thoughs also...
This was posted in another thread and I think I will take either this approach or use one of the shed kits from home de pot or lowes, they come with connectors for 2"x2" lumber and sell for around $30.00 less covering. I really love the idea of a quick setup and tear down that could for the most part be packed away into empty rubbermaid bubblers when not in use. I'm still sketching out some details but I hope to post up a more detailed plan soon and hopfully get some brainstorming going on around the idea...

Hope this helped...

probably not.. i tried to when i first started and it was just a mess.. i tried using pvc piping, panda film, reflectix.. it was a chore trying to put together...
homeboxes come light proof and with the right fan air tight.. they hold 600 and one version uses a 1000 watter.... if you dont want it anymore than you could just sell it without losing too much of the investment...
all you need to add is a fan, light, and carbon filter or a vaprotek could cover 4 of these..
since its lightproof, you could run a flip flop system with one ballast..
If i had 7 feet in my growroom, i would have got it but i definetly plan on buying one when i move ...

This would be a perfect setup in a walkin closet...

the homebox is a fabulous growtent, with built in duct connection poin for extraction, sealed points for power cord, and totally light proof and water proof.....not too expensive if you ask me, and if the guy has soent time thinking it out,m designing it, getting it made and brought to market, why shouldnt he make his money back......
I dont mean to be having a go, im just saying it isnt any old grow tent, the homebox is the rolls royce of grow tents......

I would like to suggest an improvement on the design. Does anyong know how to get in touch with the creator of the Homebox? It is an awesome design by the way. This thing is prefect for ScroG.

what kind of improvement do you see with the tent?

what caught my eye about the tent is that I grow in an apt and evry once in a while something comes up where they have to get in, this thing breaks down so nice and fast there wouldn't be any trace of a grow ,plus every time I move I end up destroying the cab when I take it apart, plus its deep enough to actualy get a nice suqare reflector and be able to mount it the correct way

That's exactly what I've been thinking.

It's looking more and more like I'll be buying one of these bad boys over the summer. I'll be sure to post pics and thoughts.

That grow tent is pretty badass, but the price is definteily not. If you were to get some PVC piping and a bunch of black/white poly and some velcro you could make one. Maybe if the price goes down ill consider getting one.

I dont know man, by the time you get done with the cost of materials and time involved to put it together. You might find the cost to be negligable, the panda poly alone is about 80.00 bucks per roll and the tent uses canvas with poly fused to the inside. If your good with puttin stuff together it mighr be worth it to build yourself, but I would bet you would only save about 100.00 bucks

I have the same sentiments as the above and thanks for bringing this to our attention. :joint:

The more i think about it the more i want one. It would be perfect in a basement, where nobody goes. To bad i don't have a basement. Maybe after i move... :joint:
