nah, that's just the proportion of N. You can use it at 1/2 strength. That stuff will work fine, but you might want to add some K to it. How about kelp?

hmmm. :chin: thanks glock.this stuff dosent have any kelp, but it does have
10% (N)
9.0% ammoniacal nitrogen
1.0% nitrate nitrogen
52% available phosphate
10% potash (k2o)
0.02% boron
0.05% copper
0.15% iron
0.05%manganese
if u live in the states, any idea of were to get kelp, walmart maybe?

All that ammonia (90%) nitrogen is not really desirable compared to nitrate nitrogen. From your list, it does not have zinc and molybdenum. You may want to boost calcium and magnesium in the soil because even with dolomite lime levels often run low. That fert contains no cal/mag. Using 1/4 teaspoon powdered gypsum + 1/4 teaspoon epsom salts per gallon of water along with the regular fert. can provide these. Adding these two also provides sulfur. Double check the label for ingredients. As awful as mg plant food is, it still may contain all the micros. If you want to boost potassium, you could use potassium nitrate 13-0-44. I heard it is the ingredient in one brand of stump remover. It is all nitrate nitrogen which is good. 1/6 teaspoon per gallon adds 100 ppm k2o.

Available in both europe and us. Call garden centers to see if they have it. Home depot may have it. Hoffman is a brand. If there is dolomite in the soil, add the gypsum/epsom every 3rd or 4th watering with the miracle grow plant food (mg) to boost up cal/mag levels. If no dolomite, use every time. If I were to guess, I would say use 3/4-1 teaspoon mg per gallon of water everytime you water. You should adjust your fert water after mixing to about 6 ph. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=31294&highlight=sulfuric+acid
