Hey O I had one SD IBL that was slow. The one next to it was tripple its size by the time I found both to be males. They were getting the same adzact treatment as each other I guess some just are runts. 9 for a low sounds like tropical wether for me are high for the day is 5 I think it's good humping wether :bigeye: .

EAI I can gurantee you will find some very nice plant's in the SD mix.

Chili looking good as usual.

Have any of you guys/girls grown the Mass supper skunk? I can't seem to find much info on her anywhere.

Phil snuck in while I was postin looks real good? How's the cough smell? I grew a DC x KKStrawberry Cough this summer but had no strawberry smell at all had a smell more of sulfer/skunk/faint berry.

Guyute,I love the color in that bud.I have grown out lots of plants, and never had that purple in there,no matter the temp. And I have had them down to 40 degrees for color, but nuttin.Guess it is all in the genetics.

I never realised how important genetics were until I started growing, the difference between an unpredictable strain (bagseed) and something that has been selectively bred for the right characteristics is amazing.

It also has to do with great care and understanding of that particular plant's needs in terms of feeding, light, temperature, ect.

Hey all  Heres a couple of pics. I just got done harvesting this stuff at 88 days. 1st up is KillaB's famous SourD..She's 1 big bitch and could've probably gone longer. Thanks for the bud Killa!

And now heres some Bloody Mary a friend of mine made and so generously shared some beans with me, Thanks TK

Man when I look at these buds and how nice these plants are it makes me feel greatful to have friends who share their genetics for the love of the plant itself. These free seeds I was gifted are 100 X's better than some seeds I've payed hundreds of dollars for. Thanks fellas.

Indo...amen to that my brotha. I ran bagseed like once before I was gifted some good genetics...the blue satellite as a matter o' fact.

This thread and especially the past 20 pages or so is exactly why I decided to pretty much scrap a whole grow cycle worth of plants for seeds. I've been gifted so many special plants in my day, so many that I wish I still had available. When I got the sour D ibl and I read how well it makes crosses I knew it was time to make seeds, and I'm definately glad I did. Hopefully a buddy can hook me up w/ some deep chunk pollen to start another batch of seeds.

Frogger, killa box buddy...holla @ me if you want some sour D in there ;)

Outame...man you are still on top of your game in water buddy, nice plant!

I also have been gifted many many great strains I am living my dream right now and it's only getting better. I really can't thank the great people that have hooked me up enough!! I started growing outdoors over 13 years ago now when I was a young pup had no clue what I was doing but the first try was sort of a sucess with 1 lonley female I had planted right into the soil in out of all places a park :spank: :nono: . But no one messed with it and I got to harvest about a 1/2 oz of some immature bud in early sept. It got us just as backed as if we were smoking some of the mexi brick we were so used to getting. But after that I tried every summer for some more plant's. Some years worked out great and some sucked but I just knew I loved growing the plant no matter what happened.

Well a few years later I was boered surfing the web and of course naturrally I found High Times web site and on that site they had a grow journal of a guy growing Sweet tooth and can't really remember the other strain but I thought it was one of the greatest things to actually be able to follow allong with someone else's grow. So I got curious to find other grow journals and typed that into google and low and behold there was the holy grail at the time Overgrow.

As soon as I found overgrow I couldn't wait to get home from work and read all these great grow journals. And of course one that took me a few nights to finish was Hobby growing with O and freinds. I was so impressed with all the great growers in that thread and the great strains they were growing. I wished one day to have a great group of freinds like that myself.

Then we all know what happend with that site and we all had to figure out our new plan. Well since the banner to this site was up on OG all the time I decided to migrate over here. It took me awhile to build up the courage to come hang out with you fine folks but I'm glad I did.

Sorry for writing a novel just having flashbacks :muahaha:
