steelers-- i took the OD about 65 days.. and you are right the OD stinks in Veg.. almost have to get a carbon scrubber just for it. teh Puss kush i think was taking at 55-60 days.. if you let it go 65-70 she will purple up even more.. i think mines from temps.. 75-80 degrees with light on 50 degrees or less with lights off.. teh taste is hard to describe.. ever tasted a kush... LOL.. flavor rich earthy ..


LDD-- low temps and no nutes for teh last 2 weeks..the longer i let it go the more purple it will get..

How big is your room HIE, cause I got like the same # of plants as you flowering right now, and at least 20+ vegging right now, but I'm gonna give a few away here and there. I just need to take another batch of clones from everything and make sure I don't miss any. I got like 6 different strains going and I pretty much gave up on labeling everything, I know how each one grows and have labeled pictures of them in veg so I can always fall back on that. Everything grows differently so I can usually tell which are which, a little rub of the stem helps too

Im gonna go buy some stuff to build the cool tube today and hopefully seal the cabinet up and add co2 this week. I hope it helps with smell b/c its gettin stinky outside...you guys know anything about ozone generators? I was thinking since my box is outside and not connected to the house it would be safe to use. I'm gonna scan for a cheap one off ebay or something before I build a scrubber...

killa - if i may give you a word of advice on the ozone... they work great... i love the smell. kinda like a pool... but be careful with your unit choice. i got one an ebay a few years ago and while it did a great job, one day i came home to find it had burnt up and it could have easily started a fire... do not get one of those cheap ones that are like 25-50 on ebay. they are not for commercial or continuous use. if you are using it in a larger area they are perfectly safe (with regards to o3 levels)... they can be dangerous to pets and humans if confined to a tight space. but all in all they work well and over the long run are cheaper than carbon or vaportek as you dont need to replace fileter or carts. I use vtek now but as you know i keep the operation small for personal use only... welll i keep a lot of genetics tho but the flower cab is small. go steelers

Killa-- my flowering room is 7x5x7, but only got it half full now.. can get up to 40 plants in there in 5 gallon buckets.. i have had 50 something in there at one time with a couple of 2 gallons and 1 gallons..
i have never run ozone so i cant say anything about it.. but i did build my carbon scrubber for less than 30 bucks.. and the carbon i got off of ebay for $20 for like 30lbs of it.. took almost all to fill it up... that was 2yrs ago.. just now needing to change the carbon in it.. that's pretty cost effective HE - sounds like a good way to go... I would have to upgrade exhaust fan i think tho.

yeah i got mine hooked up to a 6inch fantech that pulls about 500cfm.. gonna move the carbon scrubber onto the intake side and pull through the carbon scrubber instead of pushing the air.. should be more effective and i wont have it outside the room..

alright, finally got something done today. built the cool tube today, sorry no pics yet but its just like the DIY one, got everything local, cost about 30 bucks to build. Went ahead and replaced my bulb today too, its been a year so it was about time...the difference is crazy, so much brighter w/ the new one.

How often do you guys let your bulbs go? I know my veg lights are probably ready to be changed too, but for some reason I didn't think about it when at the casa depot...

Since my fan is just venting the light and not the room, can I still use a scrubber and it work as well as venting the room straight through the filter and out?

The reason I mention OZone, is it could just sit inside the cab, wouldn't need to be a big expensive one, and I wouldn't need to run it 24/7...i was looking at one on ebay, that I could maybe get around 100 bucks, with programmed cycle times so it doesn't run nonstop. steelers, you got a certain "brand" you recommend w/ ozone?

Guys, the cool tube is well...cool...its gonna help out with light intensity a whole bunch, now I'm gonna have the plants sitting right beneath the ligth and really get some penetration....ooo yeah

I wont let them go longer than a year anymore... Ive have run the same bulbs off and on for three years once, the last run when I finally replaced em, lol, my plants went retarded on me.

Also, I believ the first xxxx (maybe 100) hours of a new bulb you get an increased light 'spectral burn' or something like that.

Fresh bulbs definetly make a HUGE difference imho.

Ive never done a cab grow, but have messed with scrubbers alot... I really like to use them just in the corner of the room blowing directly up..... used it this way in sealed rooms and rooms with lights cooled from room.... and worked well for me.

So you dont need two fans, if your inside temps will cool the lights fine, and your scrubber/fan is the right size.. then, you can certainly go through the filter, through your light and out and it shoudl work.... this way has always worked for me..... just make sure you seal your hood very very good.. might need to go at it with some tape, alot of hoods have small leaks Ive found.. oh yea youve got that cooltube, man Im too stoned. :

You definetly need to pull bro!!! when pushing you reeeeeaaally have to watch those leaks, i did it like this before same way scrubber, fan, lights, out... and before I got to taping I was just blowing lotsa hot air back into the room... you lose some fan power too id think doing it backwards.

OD sounds nice MS the ozone gen burnt up or it burnt somethign up? Im pretty sure Ive read it melts some plastics, or can.. but that may be at high concentrations

i love the homeade cool tube.... and it's easy to build too... but this pinesol thing is pretty amazing.... i mean it is ghetto but this aint rocket science!

killa - you cant put the ozone in the cab it will harm the plants.... it has to be in the adjacent area. If it's in the cab your plants will get weird burning. I will look it up to see some models - some guy at the shop gave me this all inclusive growers catalog. let me find it.... i think silver bullet is one of the more popular ones....

l d d - that thing went crazy bro.... i came home and it was smoking making a really loud noise... and you could see sparks shooting around inside it (negative ion generator went apeshit).... yeah you gotta get the ones for continous use.... or for that matter most anything for your grow should be heavy duty.... even a house floor fan that i used.... i was running it all the time.... i went in the shop and sure enough it had stopped moving, but there was still power running to it and that motor was hot. either you gotta replace often or heavy up.

they usually end up around 25-50 depending on the auction... works good for occasional use tho.

i really like ozone tho.... the vaportek i have is nice and pleasant and safe but it costs 48 for a new cartridge every 2 months.

on the light, i just swapped mine out after a couple cycles and i could really see the difference. after only 2 flower runs and a little veg time. i was surprised at how much brighter the new one was.... and the plants fucking reached up for that shit too! co2 helps with that.

Alright I'm back. I had to clean up the room, got rid of the water farm system. Set my old table back up. Trying to get some of these plants I had going healthy again. I went outta town and came back to find 4 plants got no water and are on the verge of dieng. Anyway let me tell you what I got to work with so far. I have some AK47, Petrolia headstash X tajiskani hp, Bogbubble, Trainwreck (arcata), Bloody skunk, and WWxGrenadinexYumbolt. I just planted some seeds, satori, speed queen, grapefruit, NL#5, chocolate chunk X g13, afghani, and some more Petrolia headstash X tajiskani hp, bogbubble, genadine x ww x yumbolt. I also have some more clones coming to me. Some Purple Erkle, Mary jane, Dabney, Puss Kush, and some Williams Wonder. I'm trying to upload the pics but can't figure out how...aarrrrrgggggg..I hate when this happens.

hey hie, hows that blue sat look up close? anything like our old cut? the green crack looks frosty as hell, nice color green too

i appreciate the offer for the filter, i built one before and understand the concept pretty well, just a matter of getting all the materials and customizing it to my room and fan speed...i use a 265 cfm blower, so id make it around 12 inches with a 6" to 4" reducer on top and 6" cap on the bottom. If your pretty good at building these things already your more than welcome to make one for me but if its at all out of your way I'm sure I can throw one together in an afternoon.

The outside cab is filled to the brim, i'll try and get my cam back this week...got some dabney coming down ~ thursday I should run out right about the time this next batch will be ready to smoke...right on time

Hie I'm gonna start the deez beans right away, and get a seed crop going. I can't wait to knock the dabney and company up....make my own princess diesel w/ the itis...shark/diesel cross...sour wonder, nicen'sour, ooh yeah, trainwreck diesel cross...wonder what that'll smell like?
