What i don't understand is... If they've never been grown out or tested by the breeder.... Shouldn't they be listed under 'untested seed varieties'?
I also don't understand how a breeder can say things with such certainty like 'big yields', '9-10wks', 'very potent', etc. In theory, you can guess things like yield, potency & flowering times based on the parents, but anyone who's grown out enough offspring that they bred themselves knows that it isn't always so easily predictable.
And to be clear, i'm not singling out connoisseur genetics; the same thing goes for all breeders listing seeds they've never tested. I just don't understand why they aren't listed under 'untested seed varieties' at a discounted price...

I agree.I personally ran a full pack each of secret recipe, chocolate lemonade, and gdp s1........I found zero plants to be even remotely keeper level.....One thing you can count on is each pack will be rife with many phenos of polly polly hybrid plants.....

on this hard drive I have no pics of secret recipe or chocolate lemonade.....but I grew them maybe I could research a order number for ya but honestly feel no need to "prove" myself any further

that was last year
you didnt update me or take any more pics
what about the other 4 seeds you only posted 1 pic
also the other strains you got no pics
not saying you bullshiting but if you wanted a replacement i said to keep me updated with pics etc and il sort you out when harvested if not happy

excatly..... I never expected or wanted replacements...I just expect that my opnion should count for something... there have got to be pic's somewhere on this site or at least a post or 2 of the sr and chocolate lemonaid...but I wouldn't even know where to begin looking.......they could have been made by a banned username......I'm not looking for trouble or tryin' ta stir shit.....Im just saying I didnt find a plant that could hang around......and except for the mutant gdp I found no bad plants or hermies either..Maybe I'm lucky or blessed or both to have some of the mom's I do.....I'm also gratefull.....I didn't knock your gear I just stated my opnion and I stand by it......The truth is the truth and that is these are un tested beans....

Ive tried 4 different strains from CSG and every single plant had its own amazing qualities, Ive never had such a hard time narrowing plants down to a few keepers each. Had to do grows of each several times and debate, debate ,debate. Alot of times the seeds get a bad rap when 95% of the time its grower error. Not just CSG but any of these seed companies. Its just very easy now a days to blame someone else.
I just pulled my Hippy Stash out of my flower tent last night to let her shock ripen til the end of the week. I am gonna let her go til 11 weeks ;-) Looks and smells awesome!
