They are too big to move around and get decent pics.com so these are as good as they are gonna get I'm the tight space I've got to crawl in to get the pictures.
Cheese n chaze:
They have slight tip burn, but not bad considering I'm feeding 5 strains from the same res....somethings aren't going to be as happy as others.
Here's the hippy stash, starting to get pretty funky, kind of hard to describe maybe rotten garbage...in a good way if that makes sense...the cheese n chaze has a pretty destinct cheesy funk. The hs has a kind of leaf twist thing going on. The environment isn't any where near dialed in, so could be humidity/vpd thing, could be bc I need to get the pots up off the basement floor as the bottoms can get kinda soggy. Just err on the side of caution, I'm going to do a low ec flush to make sure there isn't any build up in the coco, I've been watering to a pretty good amount of run off, so I should be good. I also don't have an ec meter here and although I'm using formulas, measurements, and water I'm very familiar with I can't really be certain what strength they are getting. Anyway...
Hippy stash. Week four(?)
Cheese n chaze has lost all cheesy smell and now smells like sweet diesel. I've taken a bunch of clones bc I really like the smell and it vegges and branches out really fast....
Half of both of em came down@day 65 and I'll be taking the rest@70 and 75 to see which is best for each strain. These are all cheese n chaze...I will get some pre harvest pics of the hippy stash before it's all said and done. I think that cheese n chaze well be one of the keepers that will be monocropped. It smells great, roots easily, vegges fast and the flavor and buzz are on point too. It smells a lot like sour diesel maybe a little sweetness in there from the super silver haze. No cheese smell at all. I think really in veg it may have but this is a sssdh leaner, I believe. I'm loving it
these are finished and jarred.hippy stash has a chemmy dank flavor and smell with a pretty strong buzz. I think I had it a little too far from the light so they could have swelled more. . I will run her again and try to get the yield I thought it should....everything else was on point. Nice strong hybrid buzz, stank, and interesting dank flavor.
Now the cheese n chaze. This one is my favorite of the 8 or so varieties of this seed run. It congress easy, vegged fast, and has a decent yield. She smells strongly of sweet diesel and tastes a lot like it smells. It has a nice energetic happy buzz. I like this one a lot. Around these parts it's all about how "loud" your product is and you can hear this one coming from down the block....so to speak. I should be able to monocrop a light with her soon. I'll post some pics of that along with yield#'s. Thanks for stopping in
I'm going to get a decent camera tonight and get good pics of this bc she is a keeper for sure. I got these as freebies with the hippy stash and have popped a thousand dollars or so worth of seeds recently and these are among the best three so far. She is a fast vegger, an easy cloner, finishes in 9 weeks and the finished product is potent, dense, greasy and has a very loud sour sweetish smell that sells the bag before I even break it out. Winner
Just wondering if any of your's had any amount of double serrated leaves ? I have one that's a male . It's a beautiful plant with really nice structure and double serrated leaves , I'm debating on growing out a clone in a separate space for the pollen .
I did a run with the Cheese n Chaze last year (perfect for vert like you mentioned) and really enjoyed it. Had a few phenos ranging from a very sour one to a sweet (grape?) candy with some underlying diesel and musk that I enjoyed the most, very pungent despite the underlying sweetness. You should really enjoy!
edit- just saw you finished, looks great. Nice job. The CnC I preferred last run looks identical to the one you posted pics of.
i was referring to cheese n chaze . I know that double serrations are said to have the potential of being something special . I'm debating on keeping the pollen for future projects . I'm just wondering if it would be worth the effort with this strain .
This is one of my favorites right now. It's got a creative uplifting buzz and the sweet and very sour smell is very strong. It's buds are smallish, but pretty dense. It never looks like it's going to be a yielder, but I'm always happily surprised once it's dry and hits the scales. I'd save the pollen and do some chucking for sure
