hippy stash & cheese n chaze

I have one of each they have been growing since late may, not sure exactly when. Ive grown different phenos of both and both produced some potent smoke with stank and decent yield. I'll try to update weekly once they go in to flower. I expect to veg them pretty big because the rest of the plants under this light are slow vegging indicas so it will be a while before they are big enough to flip.

The chees n chaze has the perfect structure for my grow style( vert). It branches nicely with out topping, although i did top it so it wouldnt out grow the others so much. The internode spacing inot too tight but its not super viney. Its a vigorous vegger. The other 3 phenos i flowered out had a good sour cheesy smell that people i gave samples to liked. Around these parts having "loud" packs is what sells above all else...even effect and potency. And i cringe when i have to say the word loud describing pot because the people tgat use it round here are tools and im getting old enough to feel a bit self conscious saying things that would make me sound like im tryingvto be younger than i am...anyway...the cheese and chaze i expect to be dank.
Ive grown one other pheno of hippy stash and it turned out to have an oder that i wasnt pleased with, very unique, but i was hoping to find a more chemmy nose and i woukd have been happy if it leaned towards the nycd flavor and taste wise, but it didnt smell like either of its parents. I had really high hopes for these when i bought them, it just sounded like it was going to be a dank cross(og\chem x nycd?). It was only one pheno though and im sure this one will be good. I want to add that the people that sampled the h stash thought it smelled good and was potent; it just happened to be different than i was expecting/hoping for. .
Connoisseur has some good genetics. Ive also grown rainbow jones which was beautiful purple and gold haired buds, bag appeal was top notch and it smelled great. Now im just rambling. Ill throw up a few more veg shots, but once they go to 12\12 I'll update frequently.

I've smoked chemmy Jones...very good. Its got the dank chemmy smell, potency, yield and bag appeal. I would like to run some of those myself.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, didnt realize thdy weren't so good until i was already home. This is cheese n chaze, its the fastest vegger out of everthing i have going now. Looks like its structure is perfect for a vert grow. This thing will be a beast by the time the indicas that she shares a light with will be big enough to flip.

Looks like a cal deficiency, im feeding maxibloom @1.2ec +2ml silica. I bumped the ec up to kiss recommendations maybe it will help, i wdnt to buy a bottle of cal mag yesterday and the hydro whore was out, i haven't had to use cal mag in a very long time. Ive run many many varieties and, although as a newb i bought and used it, none needed it. I just read that coco requires cal mag and was suckered into buying fancy bottles of all types. Anyway, it looks like ive finally found a calmag whore and now wish i hadn't given that half used bottle away a year and a half ago.
I've taken clones from this and the hippy stash, waiting on roots. I may just go ahead and take enough clones of this to do a monocrop since i have to veg everything else up quite a bit before i can flip.

Hippy stash is chugging right along, not showing the same deficiency as c&c...maybe slightly. I like the tight internode spacing on this one. Not quite as fast vegging as cheese n chase, but by no means slow. I only topped her once and there are branches everywhere, i wish i would have topped before it got as tall as it did, but it will be fine. You can't really see all the branches through the foliage, but they are all over the place under there.

i have calcium defs in veg and i think its due to my very soft water, if am feeding say 1.0 ec i will make a feed up to 0.8 and then bump it up to 1.0 with calmag and drop the ph to 5.5

I trimmed about 12 of the tallest shoots off the cheese n chase because, in spite if the lock outs its experiencing, its out griwing everything and i have to wait for the indica doms to grow out a bit be fore i can flip this spot. I ordered a bag of maxigrow and have been foliar feeding epsoms tge last couple days to try to help until the local grow store gets their truck in with cal mag. By the time i get this girl back to perfect health it will be time ti flip.

The hippie stash is showing a slight mag def or lockout, not nearly as acute as the c n' c though. This is my first grow at this location so it will be a couple grows before i have the environment dialed in...i don't even have a thermo\humidistat in here...or reflectix hung, or many other things that need to be done or put in place. These are all new strains to me so I'm learning their quirks.

I fed them at full strength 1tsp\gal hoping to green the cheese n chaze up a bit and, although you cant really see due to the crappy quality of the pics, there is a slight nute burn on the tips. Once i get them on maxigrow everything should fall in to place with its ratios better suited to this stage of growth.

I've also taken a bunch of clones of everything so i can monocrop at least one of the lights ill be running at this location with the best strain of this seed run. Ill be running them all again just to be sure, but its easier to get a decent yield and its easier in general to manage a monocrop. See ya in a week or so!

Ive pruned out some of the inner growth in preperation for flower. The cheese n chaze's lock out seems to be sorting it self out after the switch to maxigrow.

The hippy stash got thinned out a little as well. She still looks to have a bit of a mag def/lockout, but should grow out of it with the maxigrow.

Hopefully after up potting and a little cal mag this hipy stash will grow out of this deficiency. Its only showing on leaves close to the light. Maybe a mix of cal def and heat stress exacerbated by cal def?

And the cheese n chaze is beastin out. This thing is going to hit the cieling as its only 6'6" or so. I thinned out the inner growth a week or so ago and took a little of the top a couole weeks ago trying to stall her out while the others caught up...it didnt phase this bitch. Its going to be fun trying to control this girl in flower. Sh should produce a nice bumper crop as i expect her to go 11ish weeks and all the othets in this room are 9weekerz. She should yield no matter what due to her size and multitude of tops. Im going to take some more suckers and thin her insides out again. Ill have her in a position where she'll be lit on both sides o.ce i flip the next round of archive and bodhi seedlings that are vegging behind this group. She will surely boost the gpw on this light. Shes all nut grown out of her deficiency.

Chese n chaze week 1 flower. Im stoked on the improvement after switching to maxigrow for the rest of veg. No more deficiency or lock out, no more purple\red stems\stalks everything is green, healthy and praying towards the lights when theu come on(these pics were taken just before lihts on) i also up potted them from 1gal to 3gal a few days before i flipped.

I also trimmed out a bunch from the insides of both a day or two before flip...they still loom untouched in spite of the paper grocers bag filled with suckers..

hopefully by the time I am taking harvest/bud pics I'll have a better way of taking pictures. I apologize for the poor quality, but it is what it is...
