Highway Robbery In Tennesee

The second I heard the two cops arguing over who gets the stop I couldn't watch anymore. Fellas, be smart. Do NOT drive around with more then 5k cash on you, if you do, have a fucking reciept from the bank, if not you might as well throw it out the window.

Sorting out DICE, 23rd

The NewsChannel 5 investigation also indicated a “turf war” existed between the 23rd Judicial District Drug Task Force and DICE.

Williams obtained video footage of vehicles from the task force blocking a DICE officer from the highway. More footage showed a verbal altercation between a DICE officer and a task force officer on a traffic stop.

DICE was created by the Dickson Police Department in 2008 after a Dickson officer was let go from his duties with task force.

“It was a direct result of a supervisor having our man removed that we created (DICE),” Chandler said. “When we first started, there was some animosity between the two, but we’ve got that worked out now.”

The footage of the altercation between two officers was from three years ago, and the blocking-in incident was a “miscommunication,” according to Chandler.

The two departments formulated a written agreement in December 2010, after an auditor recommended they formalize their boundaries.

“The 23rd Drug Task Force and DICE, they work hand-in-hand. They back each other up,” Chandler said.
Story prompts change

Despite his disapproval of the TV report, Chandler said he will look at making some changes in how the DICE unit operates.

“One thing that I’m going to bring up at the next task force board meeting is about changing policies on the length of time that we keep evidence and the policies on video taping,” Chandler said.

Chandler thinks it will be a good idea to keep dashboard camera videos longer and have the capability to back-up video tapes so that they can get more detailed footage of traffic stops.

They have been doing it for years. Guilty until proven innocent. It is fucked up law...Police unions are out of control and so is the judiciary.

This is why we avoid Arizona, Texas, Louisiana etc....They do it in those states too.
