Is it gonna be a waste of time and money?Or will it be awesome and ill be glad i went. Is there even gonna be free weed after i pay 130 bucks for 2 days? Or is it just a live high times magazine with tuns of people trying to sell me shit?
you would think since its the first LEGAL cannabis cup in the united states that it would e epic right?
By the time i get there i will be broke and apparently 8ths are 55-75$ out there now that its legal.
on the website for the tickets it says both
" No selling or distributing of cannabis is allowed"
&
"Due to Colorado law we cannot give away cannabis, which is why we’ve kept the ticket price as low as possible while still putting on a world-class event."

i didn't find any free weed last year and they were not selling any from what i saw, but if you like dabs "free samples" are really really really really easy to find.you might be able to do $130 in samples in two day. seeds were not sold last year but that does not mean some samples were not handed out.

yes, there are tons of people trying to sell you shit, but the vibe is very different from other expos i've been to

crowded as hell last year, but it's not in the same place this time

I Don't want peoples nasty dabs.I mean ill take some don't get me wrong but i love beautiful weed that's what i want to see and taste.I mean i have plenty of it here in NY. For the cost of getting out there I could have like 2 ounces consisting of at least 10 different buds. now all of it comes from CO/CA anyway.
I'm starting to have serious second thoughts about buying plane and admission tickets.

the rules here have changed a whole lot since last year so you will be able to get your hands on some good herb one way or another

i have family on "LawgggEyeland" ...... i promise you it will be way easier to find herb here that it is for me there and you won't have to be worried about the cops fucking up your vacation

take some time to see the sights. ya never know who you will run into

But yeah i see what you are saying I have 3 friends that moved out there already i will be staying with one of them that works at Avery brewery so im sure i will be spending some time there.

with 3 friends in colorado you should be able to get a few people to hook you up free of taxes or any other charges whatsoever ........ it's the law:yay:

Anyone I know gonna make an appearance this year? I'll be meeting up with Karma Genetics hopefully. I got a place to stay (not a hotel) for part of, or even all of my trip to Colorado. I'm sure my buddy would be more than happy to accommodate a meet up at his place.

I'll be flying in for my first cup experience ever, would love to hook up with some of you locals. Just a short stay, so I'd love to have someone familiar with the area show me around a little bit outside of the expo. Possibly a couch to crash on if needed - but I think I got that locked down for the trip.

Wish it was more in-season for outdoor activities so I could do the kind of exploring I want. The mountains, specifically. Only ever seen the Apps, never the rockies. National parks would be amazing, hope its warm!

My issue is with that $130 entrance fee. Seems a tad steep. Why should anyone pay just for the privilege of having a whole lot of different marketers vie for your business? I can see the same stuff advertized online and pay nothing. Is some big name band playing or something? Must really big, I mean huge.

If you are coming in from outa the state or don't have a med card you are simply limited to the recreational despencerys. Which there are many, but supply will run low around 420 no doubt.

The majority of entries will have to b sourced similarly to the process in the dam. Instead of coffee shops, medical despencerys will sell there entries at there usual locations.
That however does leav out the non-local participants, like "buds and roses" or people like "BOG"!... Leaving a bit of grey area for non celebrity judging..

I however will b attending to try and talk alittle shop w the breeders themselves!
Topping my list are BOG, moonshine (scot @rare dankness!) and Karma genetics! But there are/will be endless opertunitys to network and meet other interesting growers and developers of new tec, like sic new plasma lights n other cool stuff.

Only bad part I can see is the crowds! Heard there was a 6hr line the first day lst year. So plan to go early n wait. Those VIPs should get you past the lines, but as they've all sold out they will cost extra!
