High terpene strains??

Surprised not to see more threads made for this.

What are some real tasty strains you have tried? Im not talking about cheese and kush but the very fruity, overpowering goodness some strains have.

I noticed orange bud is very juicy smelling. A lot of strains these days are generic variations of each other and im looking for something different smell and taste wise.

I remember stains from years ago that were super different to whats around now. Even amsterdam diddnt have anything that special.

Where has the nice weed gone?

TGA for terpy varieties...
I don't think anyone has more terps than Subcools gear but I could be wrong. I havent grown everything under their sun.

I honestly can't compliment their flavors, but Durban Magic and Misty Kei from Seeds of Africa are strongest I've seen on aromatic terpenes. Neither ripened properly outdoors in my climate, though, so I really don't know their full potential.

check out the actual numbers. click on a strain and look at the last line on the terpene profile and it gives the total % of terps.

ok, amnesia core cut, marley´s collie, trainwreck, blockhead to name just few.

I assume you're talking strictly smell not % of terps so...

Dynamite (next generation) / Grapefruit (pick 1) / Sweet Tooth 3 (peak seeds has a BX) - for a nice grapefruit smell/ Sweet tooth / Grapefruit in my experience are dominant terps so crosses with these would also be recommended for sweet citrus funk.

Blueberry of course

Bubblegum - Serious Seeds is the only I can recommend

Super Silver Haze can have a bubble gum smell

Black Cherry Soda great smell

Harlequin (harborside cut) it's like cherry syrup some say licorice smell

I know you said no Kush but Cherry Pie Kush and Mango Kush have been some of the best fruity tasting and smelling strains I've smoked. I have not grown them, but the finished products definitely live up to their namesakes.

Space monkey from Bodhi was the smelliest thing I've ever grown.
Smelled a bit like the glue mother when growing and at harvest but turned sour in the jar.
Weirdest smell I've encountered, sour just like whiskey or bourbon , not in a good way.
It cured to an odd orange color as well, solid buzz but no one liked it much.
Interesting things to be found in the rest of those seeds for sure.

Tga agent orange is my new favorite

In was gifted some of subcools original AO line which was crossed with a random unknown male.

The result is amazingly terpy and large yields. Very nice uplifting clear effects

On the other hand lavender kush is my favorite indica.

Both taste amazing w no cure. Then once cured taste even better of course.

Cantelope haze also was nice. I'd like to get that strain. Pineapple train wreck also very terpy

AARGh so many to try!

GG#4 crosses just fine. I've not run any of the seeds I made w her yet but Orange Glue by Relentless seeds threw some sort of orange terps in every single lady from my pack of seeds (6 of 10 were females).

Forgot the rest...
The GG#4 x Khalisi as well as the GG#4 x Goblin Queen are better than GG#4 where terps are concerned. These are in addition to the Orange Glue as well. The Orange Glue was only slightly lacking in potency compared to GG#4.

From those plants I grew, I'd say GG#4 is an awesome outcrosser that adds frost as well as potency to her offspring.

from the strains I have tried I would say

Cali O ... is so delicious, tastes exactly like oranges....

blueberry...... I had some in 2005, that was the best tasting bud I had ever tasted. exactly like blueberry muffins. so good and the high was heavy and long lasting

Ms Universe.... This is one that I have been growing for about a year and a half now. I just cant let it go. sweet cherry cough drops...... almost tropical tasting. the smell and the taste are addicting. the high is uplifting and happy.

Damn, the guava og entry in the emerald cup had 5% terps!
Anyhow, cherry pie, Cali o, orange crush, and well grown og have been my favorite s as far as terps go. That's just my taste buds though.

Girl Scout Cookies from RoyalQueenSeeds, dont know how much %thc mine have but the high is very clean and strong when consumed pure or with tobacco.
but if i add 0.1g of something else no matter if OG or WW or WR, Crit its becomes very sleepy!
The eyes are perfectly clear and i dont feel a facestone or mindfreeze but my body feels jumping and turning waves of high
smell is amazing, taste amazing too.. 35%cherry/50%blackhashish/15%diesel
they say its forum x forum so maybe its the real deal..
downside they yield below average, so i cross them with hazeheaven, some Karma strains and some Raskal and rare dankness stuff.. when my country legalizes or i move away, i will come back to this forum and show the results

Some really good suggestions here. A lot of tasty strains with some diversity. Want to try some new stuff out.

Orange glue sounds interesting. Ill put some pics up of the gg#4 and i would like anyone to tell me if its the real cut if someone can tell by looking. It is suppost to be the proper one

I just picked up the cross with harlequin which is also supposedly a bit cherry-like. Hoping for good things!
