High ppm after reverse osmosis

I have an Evolution RO 1000 reverse osmosis machine that I have used for the past 2 years. I've been noticing high ppm levels in my reservoirs lately (1450 -1550) along with some nute burn for the past month, though my recipe has stayed the same and this hasn't been an issue in the past. Additionally, the water pressure coming out of the RO has slowed down drastically over the last couple months (used to fill a 55 gallon drum in 5 hours, now takes 24 hours)

Last night I checked the ppm of the filtered water coming out of the RO, it read 340 ppm. I'm guessing this is high, shouldn't it be more like 0 or 10 ppm?

Is there a way I could clean the filters? Or do I need to buy new filters? There are 3 cylinders so I guess 3 different filters, are they all the same filters or do they serve different purposes?

If someone could point me in the right direction and tell me exactly what I need to replace it would be a great help.

Thanks!

Hey

You can give a call or email to the place you purchased the filter from and find out exactly what replacement membranes you need. I know that with mine..due to having city water..I need to replace the large sediment filters every 6-8 months. The RO membrane and other ones about once per year. So that means that you are probably way over due.

The fact that your water is coming out of your filter at 340ppm means exactly that. You need to change out your filters. should be relatively inexpensive..and shouldnt take more than 30 minutes to do.

Check out Youtube for some videos on how to replace your filters. Its not hard at all.

Cheers
