Well heres the deal, these plants have a had a rough time dealing with several HIGH heat periods, like over 90 when my swamp-cooler went out twice! That slowed them down alot but they seemed to get over it and recover a bit but then I transplanted them into these half gallon containers with the following mix.
~60% OMNI brand planting compost nice dark rich and cheap.
~20% Coco-gro coir fiber
~10%perlite
~10%Wormcastings.

also into the mix I added about 1/4 cup each of the following, possibly a tad more per cubic foot

Bone meal, Blood meal, Kelp meal, Organic Bloom food 3-6-6( alocal blend of guanos and meals etc.) also Dolomite lime.

After the transplant a few plants straight curled up and died, while most of them exhibited leaf symptoms to various degrees. The trouble starts at the tips and works to the base of the leaves evenly, starts on the lowest leaves and then works up the plant. I got to thinking and did some pH checking. My tap water comes out around 7.5 which I know is tooo high. I also made a slurry with this water and my leftover soil mix, couldn't tell much with my crappy test strips but I think its stays pretty close to 7, which is still tooo high. So I used some lemons off my tree to bring some water down to about pH6 and I watered them with this, it helped a lot, and I've done it once more since then, things are looking MUCH MUCH better but symptoms still persist to some degree and it seems to come back a few days after watering, I think that the Acid from the lemon juice is getting buffered out after the first day or two??

I am fairly sure its not just too hot of a mix because most plants only showed minimal symptoms and even the bigger ones show the same affliction, plus when I added ph6 water it improved alot. anyways heres the pics
first before the heat wave etc.

heres aleaf just starting to go

heres acouple that have gone

another on its way out

not sure what the hell is up with this mottled one

a few shots at the bottom of the bigger plants, these are clones

here they are after some improvement and removal of dead leaves

So what do you guys think?? any and all comments appreciated greatly.

thanks for the input glassmaster, I've heard that with a rich organic mix like this, since the nutrients need to be "activated" by water or in other words released into the soil solution flushing can actually cause more nute burn by releasing lots of nutes into the soil solution, in case you didn't know plants can only use the nutrients that are available in said soil solution. that and I really don't think this is nute burn. I do greatly appreciate the response as noone else even tried...

Ok Stitch, time for the resident sick plant guru to chime in here, I checked in on my babies today and found these spots on several plants, they seem to concentrate on the middle fan leaves.

also in the next few pics you can see a couple of my Molokai frost seedplants that have very upturned foliage with the leaves beginning to crisp and roll up from the tip. These plants had been "pointing up" somewhat for several weeks but they seemed to be fine otherwise, but now their leaves are starting to roll like this

any ideas on what makes the leaves point up like that cause I sure don't know. MyNameStitch help me please!!

anyone help me out here, I've got things fairly stabilized but with flowering just getting going I'd really like to know what I've been dealing with.
As I said I don't think its plain old nute-burn but i could be wrong.....ANYONE PLEASE???

Use the links in my signature. How to test soil ph requires distilled water. You may want to look at the ph down link also. You might have added too much fert when you planted.

Could be both. You dont need anything special to measure the ph of run off water but you should invest in something more accurate than the litmus strips, they arent accurate enough for problem diagnosis.
