Hey! There's Master Kush in My Closet!

Good Evening y'all,

I was hoping to get some advice/suggestions on a grow closet plan. The closet is roughly 60"Wx21"Dx86"H, giving me 8.75 sq. ft. If I keep the shelf that's inside it for storage/whatever and hang lights from the bottom of the shelf, I'll have roughly 62" of height to grow in. This would suit my needs as a flowering chamber quite well. I thought about making it two chambers but I think it would be more realistic and fun to build a small veg cabinet out of an old dresser I have.

Anyways, the problem I can't get around or decide a solution on is ventilation. I can't make major modifications to the walls or door. I was thinking about building a second door inside the door frame. I may not be able to close the original door all the way, but that's not going to be an issue so long as I can leave the original door hanging and untouched. Then what I can do is cut into that new door for vents. I could put passive intakes on the bottom of the door and vent from the top with a fan and carbon filter.

I've done the obligatory google searches and read some faq's and I think it is feasible. I'd just like to have some input on how to approach it from some fellow travelers. After all, that's why we're here right?:tiphat:

I've got two Master Kush plants in there right now in three gallon hempy buckets. They are vegging under a 2ft. T5 fixture, 4 bulbs @6400K 24W. They are 5 weeks old today. One is 7" long and and the other is 9". I can't decide if I want to do HPS or not. I guess it would depend if I could vent well enough.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by! I haven't started my grow journal yet but I plan on doing that this weekend and I will update if anyone would like to keep an eye on my grow :blowbubbles:. Again, any tips, advice, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If not for me, do it for Betty and Lorraine!
