Hey!! Just got male sacks on an Alternate Node Plant

I have this plant that has alternating nodes...and Im pretty sure she was a female for the last 2 months of veg, and 5 days ago i flipped the lights and its growing sacks....and i don't see any hairs anywhere...whats the deal ? lol

Sounds like a male. If you have some good genetics then save some of the pollen and use it later. Would be a shame to throw away a plant youve spent over 2 months with. :wink:

Sounds like you had the "stipules" confused with the female "pistillates"

Alternating nodes is a sign the plant has reached "maturity", nothing to do with sex.

ohhhh.....ya its something i picked up way back in the day.. must have gotten confused and gone with it for the last few years without being proven wrong...until now. lol... I didn't have stipules and hairs mixed up though.... ok well.. guess il chuck him....just another one for the bubble bag for now...
