Hey guys!

I am growing Critical Kush (barney's farm), i grow sog style with Canna terra Nutes + PK,BOOST. I used 1/4 of the recommended nute dosage, with phd water. The runoff is 7.0 ph.
The problem occured in 5W flower.. Thought it was light burn, so i moved it away, but the problem progressed...
I checked if i had a nutrient problem, looked like P so i flushed the plants and gave them a mild dosage of FlowerN.

Please give me your opinion, i dont want to fuck them up more, i love them so much. <3

7 ph seems a little high in my opinion also why do you have grow stones on top? What's your ec? What's the ph of your starting nutrient solution? What's the ec of your starting water, tap/ro? How close is your lights from the canopy? What your day/night temps? Are you feeding every time you water? How often are you watering? Do you let the soil dry up a bit or keep it moist? Is the soil amended with anything?

Looks like you have multiple issues going on, cal/mag, phosphorus among the few. Also 5 weeks in flower why only 1/4 strenght? Salt buildup? Need to know your ec my man.

Thanks for help bro!

I use tap water with 8-9ph(medium hard water) and i lower the ph with vinegar after adding nutrients to around 6ph(I let the water rest for 12h (chlorine)). Dont know the EC value, i dont have the meter... ( is it a must?)

I water them every 2 days, every third watering i add nutes. The soil is never moist when i water. The grow stones are for protection so i dont mess shit up when i water.

The soil is Bagged: 14:10:18 – 1,5kg NPK/m3 , EC 45mS/m (+/- 25%)
I added 30% perlite to the soil.

I use 600w HPS, well ventilated.
temps: 26C - 28C day , 18C - 20C night
humidity: 30-40% day , 50-60% night

I added epsom salt to the water but only once or twice at 2W flowering.. It is possible that the plants are just underfed, cause i am a pussy with nutes. But i am not sure, and i dont want to test shit before asking someone..

I did a flush last week, how much water do u run through? I flushed the 3.3l container with 1,5l of water.(double flush) Is that enough?

I hope u got some info from that.. Peace bro :D

Oh yea i forgot about the nutes.. I used 1/4 strength only the first week, so i got sure i wouldnt burn them. Then slowly increased.

Third week feeding:
-20ml CannaFlores
-10ml CannaBoost
-Epsom salt, half tablespoon

Mixed in 5l container.

Classic magnesium def.....

probably not doing much harm......

The technical name for that leaf...

interveinal chlorosis....

More than mag deficiency there is also a bit of calcium phosphorus and iron from what I see. This can be due to either too low or too high ec. There is also the possibility of the plants not receiving mag due to the high ph in the soil. With out a meter you just can't correctly say. So before I tell you to add anything to your mix will need to know your ec levels.

Googled, checked, yea that's the problem! Thank you :dance013:
So the question now is, since they are almost in 6WF is it worth to add Mag? Will it effect taste? According to google its only for leafes but tell me ur opinion.

"Magnesium’s main goal is to promote healthy veins and spur on the production of leaves. It is also needed for the production of chlorophyll and the breaking down of enzymes. " google

Your already adding epsom salt at 1/2 tablespoon per gallon that's def not your only problem my man. How do you account for the dark blotches on leaves?

Yea i had same thoughts... u are probably right :D Will the ec value provided by the company that handles the water be okay? At their site i found this EC (213 - 217 v µS/cm) PH (7.90-8.05) So can i somehow calculate from this adding nutes?

No you can't see how much nutes are in your run off if you don't have a meter. You are just playing guessing games. I suspect that your problem is due to a high pH. When you start having Iron problems, it's usually due to pH problems within the medium. Marrdogg is on the right track with you. He's going the same direction that I would. There's not much you can do until you have a meter but you can start by getting the pH within your medium down to 6.5 for starters.

Hey!

Ok i got the meter today. Did the measurments so here are the readings:

PH'ed tap water: 0.20mS , o,10 ppt
Water + nutes: 0.83mS, 0,42ppt
Sick plant runoff: 0.43mS, 0,21 ppt
Good plant runoff: 0,22mS, 0,22 ppt

I dont get this guys.. treated the plants almost the same but the readings are waaay off. The plants are from clones btw.

I have no idea about the readings but i am checking them out on google. But i am out of time so any help would be appreciated.

Peace :)
