Hey there folks i have just returned home after 2 weeks break< whilst i was gone the missus was looking after the kidies but when i returned home upon inspection i have found a plant in the middle of the room that has some male flowers approx every third node. The plants are only in week 3 of flower after 6 week veg, dont know how long he/she was spiting pollen but my question is what should i do finish or cut my loses and start again i can see some seeds here and there it is only for personal no cash crop here:fsu:what to do ????

So? would you rather had NO 'erb or have to pick seeds out like the "old days"?

Sprout them herm seeds, there all female! They might have a genetic predisposition to herm eaiser then normal now, but they *should* all sprout with vaginas

BOOOO...I don't like the advice given.!!!

In my opinion...hermi genetics should ALL be culled and tossed. Sure you can let them flower, by why do you want to breed and keep around a plant that is going to possible seed you bud...EVERY TIME. I know that some GREAT strains have been kept around that hermi (Arcata TW, some Chem's, some Sour's) but at the same time...these plants only start showing these tendencies near the END of flower...not the beginning. Why keep something around that is faulty in the first place? If at 3 weeks it is starting to throw nanners...toss it...use it to make some decent bubble. Or finish it, and throw the seeds down the garbage disposal. My advice...sprout some more seeds and try to find a TRUE female, with no genetic disposition to grow balls. The LAST thing you want is a plant you have to CONSTANTLY watch for the danger of it seeding you ENTIRE room.

yeah i just finished growing out a hermi, the weed is good, but i have a strain in there i like and i dont want it seeded up. i cloned it to see if it was genetic, and the clone is all seeded up too. so... once its done im not growing that out anymore.

Glad to hear it. I think that a wise decision for the future success of your garden. No offense, but I HATE it when people spread around, even if it is in their own personal garden and it is never shared...but I hate when a poor plant genetically is allowed to thrive...weakens the gene pool. That is the whole point of being a grower/breeder - to make cannabis a better. If a plant that throws nanners so early in flower is allowed to live...lol....I think it to be a disgrace. I PERSONALLY, would rather wait longer to have some product, than blow with a female that has balls.!!!
