though a disrupted photoperiod is the main reason for sex reverseal, it looks like any kind of stress can turn a female into a hermie.
Lately I put some rooted clones directly into flowering with no further veg growth.combined with heavy watering on a medium I didn't know (coco fibers), it gave me hermies.Therefore nutrient disorder, heat and moisture stress, heavy pruning seem to induce sex reverseal too.It happened to me on several setups with sometime no visible reason.
I'd be interested to hear about your hermie stories, especially: why did they turn hermie , what not to do to avoid hermies.
