hey guys
peace to those of you who have helped push me off the fence and into this wonderful world I have an unknown cross from bag seed and in looking at her last night i saw what appeared to be male parts on my other wise healthy gurl. i have done some searching on hermi's however protruding from these sacks are pistils. i was wondering if this is just an undeveloped bud site or is it possible or usual to have male parts with female parts protruding? i am in week 3 of flower and aside from this everything is perfect. i have 2 more clones from the same bag that are perfectly fine. any help would be much appreciated. sorry no pics....

Rip em out. If after 3 weeks you see male sacks AND pistils then ya know it's a hermi and needs to go.

You can always give it a couple days to make sure it's a male sack, but I'd be careful as these things can burst at any minute and seed the crop....

It's not "usual" to have nuts coming out of a bud unless you're growing hermies. Did the plant have any light leaks or other stresses that the others didn't have? I'd keep a sharp eye on the others to see if they throw nuts...if that's all you have to grow, then you can get some good smoke outta it but you're gonna have to deal with seeds. If you've got other genetics, I'd go with them.

yeah ive got some gdp, ww, nl and haze all going right now. i was just caught off gaurd seeing pistils comming out of balls. guess i will just rip it out of the grow. thanks all.

no. i am not really sure at this point. it is what appears to be a male sac with hairs potruding from it. very strange indeed. doesnt look like any of the other pics i saw of hermis and i did quite a bit of lookin around. the thang is i dont have pics right now and last night in a bit of a frenzy i chopped them off with my fishkars. the only thang that i can think of that i did different than my others is a week or so ago i chopped some of the lower branches after it had already been flowering. i know thats a bit of a stress but it needed to be done.... i am debating on how to go about it my original plan was just ripp it out of the grow but now im thinkn what if i left it and pulled the sacs off as they appear. dont know im on my 2nd grow and havent run into this b4...

i had the same problem with some og kush. pulled the little naners off as they appeared. had a few seeds but not enough to hurt and the og is looking and smelling great,

The plants you are talking about are females... I have the same ones ya know

They are female pistils... We all know they can confuse you at times... Do not look for the worst....

You need to get those NL's you have rippen, you will be happiest on that for the time
(ease of growing / quality / harvest) plus it is hard to hurt them and they are friendly to any fert mistakes that may take place.
