There are actually two types of hermies....

As my friend 420somewhere points out...

there is the balls type....

but there is also another type..... they are called commonly referred to as nanners......

From a botany perspective.... the balls type are called imperfect flowers...

whille the nanners type is called a perfect flower.....

A perfect flower has both sexes in one flower....

whille imperfect.... each flower has only one sex....however the plant has separate male and female flowers.....

Not all hermies are created equally....

I would never keep a plant that had balls....

the pollen.... like a normal male can be released and go airborn..... seeding your plants...

because the nanners are kept moist by the female portions of the plant.....

often dont create any seeds.....

I had a plant I kept for a few rounds recently that had some nanners..... It rarely produced any seeds.....

I got rid of it not due to nanners....but because it was only a modest yielder.....
