Hermaphrodite seeds

A skunk I had in flowering developed a few male flowers pretty late into the cycle (I had a small light leak) and it pollinated numerous other females that were in the room. My question is, will all the seeds on the females that were pollinated by the hermie become hermie seeds? I appreciate any help.

Selfed plants = mostly female, some hermies, odd male.

Hermie pollen to other plants = mostly hermies, some females, odd male.

Hey blaze ,

IMHO -It depends on how bad the light leak was .

Basically I would say , if the event that caused them to herm in the first place is likely to happen again , I wouldn`t grow`um .

Because unless they have the perfect grow room , they will herm again , and a perfect grow room is hard to come by + it just seems like a accident waiting to happen .

But.... if you discover it was more of light leak than you first though and you did indeed stress the shit out of them , I would grow`um out while keeping a good eye on them .

Also....If the ones that hermed pollinated the ones that didn`t , it is possible that the offspring will have more resistance to hermie , ( ie , it will be f1 for hermie characteristics which hopefully the hermie will be recessive , which I don`t know if it is. )

Or....Just get the good shit of Gypsy ;)

Throw them out

Throw them out

Blaze that happen to me just a little while ago.As I was still settin up the rooms and the leak happen just for a few days.Anyway i got some seeds, like 40 of them and only off 2 plants the other ones didnt have any.I grew them all out thinking that it should b all females.Well over half of them were pure male 6 were female(well atleast i think they would have been)the rest were hermmy.I let them 6 grow for 2 weeks and not one bud formed on them just hairs. The strains were AK-47 and white widow.Any light leak and or any stress is not good.I know from growing them for a while now that they bud right away.Waste of soil and time.Ive learned my lesson.Make sure the room is totaly done b4 growing.Good luck

Thanks for the replies.

My growroom specs are pretty tight. I should re-word that, it was not a light 'leak'. What happened was I went on a boarding trip for a few days and had my ladies taken care of by my roommate. For some strange reason (against my instructions) he decided to mist them when the light was off. He went into the room and turned the light on to mist them, then turned it back off. Idiocy.

Again, thanks for the info.

I had some white widow herm. do to stress.
I not only threw the seeds out. I threw all clones of that strain out too.
females that herm are not true females. they are unstable...
in others words. no female should turn male because your friend let some light in.

just face it man. your strain is a cross dressing tranny! haha!
throw it out!
