I saw this thread and had to check it out and was noticing the posts from the first page on how the media like to create "hysteria" when it comes to storms . . . and here we find ourselves.

yeah JERSEY STRONG is some real shit, I thought I had tough skin being from NY but being in NJ is making me tougher year after year besides the fact that we're in a flood zone, and out of everything that happened it never flooded so I was more than happy.

then the noreaster decided to stop by and hang out for a while bearing gifts . . . yeah jersey fucking strong for real.

still was sad to hear about those two teenagers that were killed by their own pwr generator in their apartment and the mother that lost her 6yr old and 2yr old in a flood, she just couldn't hold onto them, big and burly as I am I cried when the radio reported that. but outside of that I think ppl for the most part came through all this allright
