Time to get serious after summer. This is my first hydro, so I wanted to see how things get rolling before start grow diary here. Lets introduce participants:

2x Dutch Passion Brainstorm (Cuts)
2x Female Seeds WWxBB (Cuts)
2x Topseeds Mikado (seed, in soil, both turned females)

4 x water pumps 300l/h
4 x 10l buckets with lids

Nutes:GH Flora 3 part

400W HPS in Homebox S with Active carbon filter connected to UFO.

Hiya -BG- Thanks, we keep on rolling here. We see what is coming with these. Looking good so far. Some issues can be seen in some leaves, but not worried though, because everything else looks good.

What do u expect the finish time on the brainstorm to be?

Since its started budding very same time with WWxBB, I would expect max 10 weeks in 12/12. Definately not 12 weeks, which Nirvana NLxHaze took, but is Brainstorm DP's version of that classic, is another question, which cannot answer yet. They claim it should be, but... 7-9 weeks sounds very short bloomtime for NLxHaze.
Oh, 1 of 5 hermied in flower. Friend still have original bitches blooming at their last weeks... Not unexpected, but not so radical hermie% as warned.
2 Phenos by looks. One with longer node interval and one bushy with shorter node interval.

5 week 12/12 behind, other WWxBB seemed little unhappy. Ph was dropped down to 4. So I pumped up Ph with just plain tapwater, which is alkaline. Nutes change tomorrow. This bitch was happy with GH chart formula, you know using 3 bottles, but seems to not like even half lucas.

Brainstorm #1 then decided to form some nanners! Changed situations to plain water and hope to flush most nutes off before chopdown. Picked up those nanas off which I could see, but...

DP... Hermie and runt galore indeed.

Thanks SP. So far my first hydro has been quite trouble free. Biggest issues like how to get plants out from tent without broking their stems etc, but nothing lethal issues. I knew the risks with going on the DP's ride, but I had to demonstrate it to myself. If I ever gonna buy DP again, they are going to have to drop their prices radically or fix up their production. Nanners are not acceptable behaviour, when you can have prime female seeds with reasonable price.
And handy with that we came to other inhabitants in tent. WWxBB from Femaleseeds. These ladies are just stunning. Resinous as frozen hell and yield is also looking good. Little bit more demanding, but classy bitches usually are.

I will bomb you with some questions cause i am starting now from seed.

-I can spot some crunchy leafs in your ladies wich is your ambient and canopy temps ??
-Wich is your water temps and how are you managing the water temps ?
-Wich is your ph range ?
-Are you following exactly the GH dwc schedule , using Floralicius plus and Liquid KoolBloom or only Grow Micro and Bloom wich is you ppm readings ?

You said that your ladies don't like Lucas Formula and i am worry cause i am planning to follow it

Hi erwing. You bombed me with good questions and I try to answer.

-I can spot some crunchy leafs in your ladies wich is your ambient and canopy temps ??
A: I think canopy temps are round to 25-30 celsius. I try to keep window open in other room to keep intake air as cool as possible. I just have not learned to be concerned with crunchy leaves, because before I grew in soil and yellowing and crunchy leaves were just something there is always going to be.

-Wich is your water temps and how are you managing the water temps ?
A: My apartment temp is 20 celsius and I keep window open in other room while lights are on, so they should be around 20-25 celsius. I didn't have any issues during heatwave 2 monts ago, when room temps were closer 30 celsius.

-Wich is your ph range ?
A: 5.5-6.5, but I just measure when I change nutes or something unwanted signs in big numbers are shown. I am just too old & lazy to worry about every yellowing leaf. Last thing I want to do is nurture them to death.

A: We don't have here those fancy additives. I should order them from US?
I keep it simple, like I did in soil. Just Micro and bloom and water and ph down. I have now used full Lucas at one of WWxBB's and seems to be big enough to handle Lucas now. No signs of burning leaf tips etc. GH DWC schedule(grow-micro-bloom) looks very good on other WWxBB, which is ultra resinous.

I got nice brainstrom in Adam couple of years ago.. Or I remember that it was brainstorm..
I'm gonna come and have taste from yours if it's the same !

From cuttings. Mikado's were from seed, but also the cuttings were from fresh seed plants which has never been flowered out before.
Dunno, BS does not feel anymore so hot after I have tasted those mother plants which were grown in soil by friend. I was expecting DP version of NLxHaze. Never had a chance to taste original Sensis offering(and buying now their gear would be straight lotto), but even Nirvana version beats this hands down. There is distinct smell of that fuel/diesel, I fell in love with Nirvana version, but it is very weak and blanded with that generic ganja/hash smell, which is quite dull. So, there may be some haze in Brainstorm, but result is after then crossed several times to NL to short flowering times. IMO.

In terms of potency WWxBB and Brainstorm are quite same. Leaves HC smoker like me little bit cold.
