I drank some the other day, it's a protein supplement for weightlifting or exercising or diet control in general. Hemp seed has omega oils and other nutritious things including protein. You may want to try it with soy milk like someone said or with a smoothie to see if the flavor will be a good match in a cake or whatever, but if it's the same as what I had the other day, it is like any other protein supplement for working out, only that it also contains hemp seeds or oil. Kinda like flax seed oil etc.
is there a recipe or prep work for the seed before adding it to a drink or smoothie? I have a ziplock bag full off useless seeds and a sensitive digestive tract. Ill be the guinea pig for a drink over two weeks time. I usually have a whey protein drink once or twice a week low amounts of whey(not training for anything but summertime) peanut butter, milk, ice, half bannana and a full cup of blueberries. Best purple drink ever
You would actually have to remove the shell from each seed.
Kinda like a walnut. It's the inside that has the goodness. Hulled or whatever, you can eat them like nuts too, they are sold in bulk also...
