Did they go out recently, and were they started indoors under fluoros?

Looks more like whitening than yellowing to me, like a touch of sun bleaching - leaves started inside, especially under fluoro tend to do this shortly after going out under the intense sun.

I have seen some colouring like that at times on my cuts' old growth leaves shortly after going from fluoro indoors to sun outdoors. They tend to recover and grow well after a week or 2, as your tops are doing. But the damaged leaves will not recover, watch for vigorous & healthy new growth.

My official guess is it's a touch of bleaching from going outside from inside & you're doing okay, I have seen it before. Just my 2 cents tho... :rasta:

Best of luck with the grow...

If you do use epsom salts in an outdoor context, a foliar spray is safer than a topdressing or adding it to the water, where in a case of overdose you would not be able to flush.
I don't think that's Mg def- and anyway new growht looks like the plant will easily grow out of the problem now that it is established.

could also be related to indoor to outdoor temp changes, looks very similar to the discoloration seen in the "sick plants" sticky for temp change.

Slow and steady wins the race, and that lower leaf that is all bleached out and dead looks like N def, though I'm far from an expert.

ahhh yes you are completely right. i started under flouros and that havent been outside for more than a week and a half. about a week when those pics were taken. On another plant the bottom leaves did look almos exactly white, kind of like an iron def.

But you def described it accurately. Ill see how they are in a week or so.
