Help with watering schedule

Hi people

Can any body link me to a water schedule post???

Grow info:

Outdoor grow (of course)
Southern Hemisphere.
Seedlings born at the end of september. They vegged for about 5 weeks in 1 gal container. After that they went into the ground. The soil is a mix of worm castings, perlite and potting soil. Had to do some work cause the soil has certain amount of clay that isnt good.
I made some big holes, filled them with the mix i just said. 50% potting soil, 25% perlite, 25% worm catings.
Holes are 1 meter deep and 70 cm diameter. Native soil at that depth looks better...

Coldest Temperature is 10°C morning and 28° in afternoon.
Strains are Great White Shark and Hawaian Snow. 3 each (6 total)

I need some help about watering schedule, they will keep growing untill the end of january, then should start explosive grow by then, showing that they are starting to flower. The Temperature should increase a bit in the next two months, to 12 °C (low) and 32° C (high)

I Havent went this big, so i will be preciated if someone gives me some help about amount of water (?? how much water should each plant get, suposing que are going to yield 1 kg each??). They are receiving water 2 times a week, and also they are looking good.

besides the worm castings they are going to receive alfalfa tea (alfalfa + molasses + epsom salts). Guano for blooming at the end of december (takes a month to start breaking down), and some horse manure for the Hawaian Snow, cause they like the ph a bit more acidic.

Any input is appreciate, Peace.

plants that size can drink gallons of water a day. Dont think 2x a week will be enough. Cant you put up a dripsystem or so?

im sure someone will drop in who can tell you more.

outdoor in and out of ground southern hemisphere Great White Shark grower (last season anyway) here ...

sounds like yve done things GOOD so far. seeing as there was clay I take it y've checked yr drainage and that it is good? because to some extent the amount of water you can put on is related to how well yr soil drains.

assuming yr soil is draining perfectly and they have plenty of feed plants like GWS will increasingly use up to 25 litres each a day. at onset of flowering their need for water drops off probably 30%. (flowering is when drainage problems can happen cos the plant loses the vigour it had during veg.)

cannabis is a tough plant. it can sit with droopy leaves waiting for rain for quite a while. then when it rains it makes up for lost time with incredibly fast growth.

when cannabis has had enuf water it goes droopy too ... but unlike in dry weather the growing tips and the last bit of the branches droop and go all rubbery. whole plants can fall over with this droop and it doesn't hurt them! (see this here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=40997&pictureid=1025108)

observe yr plants closely. check them in all weathers. learn their habits.

don't forget ... the learning is in the doing!

I 'll check back on this thread if you have further q's ...

cheers!

how much water=????

I soak the containers until I see water coming from the exit holes. As your summer wears on, daily waterings are going to be needed. You can put a tray underneath buckets as I'm sure the excess water will be soaked up.

Thanks for the input.

I decided to step aside from the owner of that grow, personal matters, and also didnt see the plants labeled, wich puts me at risk.

:thank you:
