Help with product selections - No budget!

I'm looking for the best-of-the-best products to buy for a new grow design. Money isn't really a factor but I want to make sure it's at least spent in a way where I get the most bang for the buck.

I've settled on the Under Current system with 16 sites and 4x1000w lights and an Intellidose controller. I considered LED lighting but I personally don't believe the technology has matured enough for me to spend that kind of money. (maybe a LumiGrow ES-330 for the mother and cloning area but thats it)

My questions so far are:

a) Is there any benefit to the HPS combo-bulbs that claim to offer multiple sprectrums? Or should I just buy another set of "Red" bulbs and swap them in for flowering?

b) I'd really like to do SCROG and have read some DIY threads on it. Does anyone sell a screen product that can attach over0000000 the top of the UnderCurrent buckets without me having to custom make something that might be flimsy?

Any help or advice appreciated thanks :tiphat:

If you wanted the most bang for your buck, you'd build a DIY system. $2000+ for a 16 site hydro system is laughable. Most DIY systems are better too because you can build them to suit your exact grow dimensions, etc, etc. The best equipment is always dependent on individual circumstances. For instance if you have a 2x2' cab, then a 1kw light is NOT the best light for your situation.

A) Yes there's a benefit to HPS combo bulbs. Additional blue spectrum would help with the vegging stage to limit stretch amongst other things.

B) It's called a Trellis.
