help with outdoor grow northwest uk

i have a few indoor grows under my belt now,but due to a few factors i can no longer chance that any more. i really fancy a bit of a guerrilla grow this year. i found a spot i think is good,its on a motorway enbankment its hard to get to on foot so know nobody will come across it and away from any lights or signs so no motorway maintainace workers.i can drive past between vists to feed/water to keep an eye on them....any advice welcome....from strains to grow...nutes to use...soil prep...and so on

Generally a bad idea to use motorway embankments.

Look again at the surrounding shrubs/trees. If there's any risk of them posing a danger to the road, by growing another 6ft this year and falling down, then assume someone's going in there to make it safe.

If you're running across the lanes to get there, you need to allow for >160mph motorbikes, so forget it.

It's a tough judgement call and usually the soil is too arid because of what lies beneath it, so you get low yields and soot/brake dust on the plants.

Also I know from experience that someone will probably crash near to your site. Sod's law.

As your driving past ping its location on a GPS,you want buds so dont be lazy,come at it across country from a different angle,dont worry your GPS will drop you right at the spot,grown numbers of plants on the edge of one of the UK's busiest roads,also service stations is another good one but your going to have to put effort in to get results

yr first concern needs to be drainage. I would dig a hole about the size of a bucket and pour in a bucket of water. if it's not gone in five minutes MAX, then yr soil needs addition of compost, gypsum ... and possible raising above ground about one foot.

then check soil pH. you can buy cheap test kits to do this.

if soil is acid add Dolomite at a rate of 1 to 1.5 grammes per litre of soil to UP pH by ONE point.

feeding is up to you. heaps of cow shit and a bit of ckicken shit usually works ok. then you can amend the mix with chem ferts if you wish (like when flowering eings you will eed to add extra Potash).

to much to tell you ... don't know yr growing spot/local climate ... but the learning is always in the doing! so make a start ... ANY start is better than just wundrin ...

just found an easier spot now guys.....its a site of an old detacted house years ago it was amazing about 8 bedroom big old house with ten foot high walled garden all around it fell into disrepair about ten years ago and slowly got worst with kids and junkies wrecking the place and stripping it of wire,pipes,boiler and so on till not so long back the house was pull down.though the walled garden is still there but is a mess but im thinking the soil will not need much help because i remember it when it was in its prime...could of been a show garden.gonna have a better look at weekend i think
