Help with my first grow

Hey everyone me and my mate are finally going to do a indoor grow

I managed to get a nice large speaker todo the grow in, i took all the insides out of the speaker today.

i just placed an order for my lights

im getting 3x 23watt CFL lights £7/$14 each

Heres the dimensions of the speaker

Height: 68cm
width: 30cm
depth: 28cm

We have a few questions to ask:

what are the fire risks?

What sort of ventaltion would we need?

What is a nice potent strain that dont grow too high, and plz dont suggest lowryder as ive read lots of bad things about it.

well... thats not too much to work with... lets see...

first... could you get another box that is about 3 square feet... or... 1/3 meter squared...? cause i think i've got an idea... you can so much as stack the both of them...
what about odor control... what kind of budget are we talking?

I think you need a bigger cabinet....

I built a carbon scrubber following Krypto's carbon bucket tutorial over at OG. Except I used the kitty litter crystal beads instead of carbon, cheaper and it is still working great for 6 months now.

What's bad about lowryder? Fast to finish and good smoke too...

Anyways, i'd suggest Misty for you. Very potent, not too tall and easy to grow.

Pretty small cab though...

Welcome to IC.. On my lil outdoor grow thread in one of the pics is an inside photo
of my veg/clone bin. I made it out of a big square rubber maid bin. All parts from wally world. aka wal mart.
1 rubber maid bin as big as you need.
2 outdoor flood light fixtures. with 4 flourex natural sunlight bulbs..
1 roll of insulation from home depot. And 1 roll of duct tape. 1 extension cord
i spliced the extension cord into the light fixtures. Then attached the fixtures to the bin. Put all the insulation in the bin. And wallaaa it was ready to go took me like 20 mijutes to finish it.. I will post a good pic later tonight inside and out of the box if you like.. Hope this helps some..peace..

well i was thinking if you could make a 150 watt hps flower box for scrog/sog, about 1/3 square meter and do a short sog strain maybe 3.5 feet tall... lets see.... thats..... 1 1/3 meters tall and do...a high sensity sog/scrog with a few 6 inch pots.... can do a few plants, get a good harvestpossibly even a few strains.

I dont think he is going for master buds here. Early Misty or straight misty will work. As for fire risk, hardly any with CFL, with the right safe wiring, you bring that down loads. Ventilation? Well, if you can leave the box open sometimes would be best, the heat build up is gonna be next to none with cfl's. With yeast and sugar in a soda bottle, youll get plenty of CO2.
Yield wise, you arent gonna get much with CFL's, but if this is your only choice, have at it.

Also Silver Pearl does well in tight spaces. There is a great article on stealth cabinets at Overgrow, check it out for ideas on ventilation techniques.

I hope that is your seed starting cab...LWH 30cm(12")x 28cm(11")x 68cm(27")...how many watts per channel can it handle
If that is your grow cab, you might have to go to bloom before they get out of the seed. You could get a cheap particle board cabinet somewhere, that's a little bigger. Fluros is all you will be able to use with the limited volumn...just my two nonsense...

talk weed, SCROG!... it puts a definite limit on your plants height
but i recommend you build a box with the dimensions i said, 1 foot deep, 3 wide
