help with black bugs please

sorry i don't have a camera for pics. but i have these little round black bugs. i spotted a few with wings. some with wings but can't fly yet. i just crush them with my fingers. to me they look like small fruit flies. if anyone can guide me to the right direction to get rid of them i would greatly appreciate it.

Gnats ya bass...get yaself some no pest strips bro,,,and let the top soil dry out,,,or you could put a inch of sand on the toplayer (you know play sand NOT sea sand ,,

forgot to mention im growing in 6" rockwool blocks. i just place two no pest strips in the other day. today say alot of them die. but not all. been crushings the ones i can find that ain't dead yet with my fingers.

They're dyslexic gnats.

thats the 1 . lost count how meny time ive done that....

there wee black flys and there larvae feed on the roots,,,,if in rockwool there goes the sand idea ah lol....neem oil ??? am sure some1 will jump in and give you more options..

best thing to use to destroy them all including eggs. i'm still in veg stage.

Gnatrol is the best thing to use to control fungus gnats.

got a quart of gnatrol. darn thing don't smell to good. any suggestion on how best to use it with a rockwool medium. better to use it with nutrient feed or just on watering day ???

hey highlander thanks for the no pest strip recommendation. all the mature ones with wings were dead in 2 days. now i gotta figure out how to wipe them out entirely with the gnatrol i just bought. i'm just so damn thankful to have a community like ic to learn from and all the good people here that gives there time to help out. i really appreciate it.
