help, wiring 3000W 220v + 1000W 120v?

Greetings,

I have 4000W's that need to be on 12/12, 3000W are 220V and the other 1000W is 120V. I have a few digital timers rated for 1000W - I'd rather use one timer and a relay, I don't mind one separate timer for the 120V ballast. I have a plywood board with 8x 220 outlets and 4x 120 outlets and romex... My breaker box has a 100, 50, and 30 amp breaker available. I'm not sure where to go from here... Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure how to go from the large empty breakers to my ballasts, or what kind of relay/timer to use.. I have individual digital timers that are rated for the wattage, not sure if i should just use them...

how would I run the cable from the breaker box to the outlets? It's multiple outlets...

Run a 10 wire 30A 240V circuit from the panel to a intermatic WH 40 hot water heater timer and from the timer to the box holding your 240V receptacles. For the 120V light you could do the same thing using an intermatic t-101 hot water heater style timer, and from the timer to your box holding the 120V receptacles. For this circuit use #12 wire on a single pole(120V) 20A breaker.Or if you want to be smart, just rewire the 120V fixture to 240V(its just switching one 1 wire and you could get all 4 fixtures on the first circuit,a #10AWG wire on a 2 pole 30A breaker to the WH40 and to the boxes holding the receptacles. It can handle all 4 lights easily with no relay needed.EDIT I've been running 3K on this idendical setup for about 6 of your earth years and theres room on the circuit for another 1K fixture easily

ballastman, glad to see you man.. you don't remember me from OG but I remember you..

so if I run the 10gage to the timer and _then just wire all of the outlets to the timer_ I should be fine? I didn't think about running that last 1000W on 120, may as well switch it to 220. And these 4000W can all run together through the 30AM and the timer? trying to stay safe...

Yes it can,you can go 24A on that 10 wire 30A circuit, and you shouldnt exceed 20.Dont worry about startup amperage its way overplayed I've held an amprobe on at startup many times, its nothing if you can spot it lol.Yea 2 hots and a ground from the panel on a 30A breaker #10 AWG to the WH40 or intermatic T-103,get the WH40 it has an on-off external lever. And from the timer to the box holding your receptacles, your set
