hi.
i need help with my grow. please help me figure out what im doing wrong.
ive got two babies. one lemon kush, the other nl x skunk 1. they are two weeks old. one gal pots with 8 drainage holes. ive got 400 w for a total of 26k+ lum. my soil mix is 3 gal mg potting soil, 3 gal perlite, 1 qt compost.
growth was explosive until day 11. on day 10 i watered each plant with 1.9 l. my soil pH is 5.8 and the water ive been using has been 7-7.5.
on day 12 i woke up to high temps. 80 f. ive been between 70-76 before that. the lemon kushs first set of fans began yellowing. next day i had rams horns.
flushed on day 13 like a dumbass. figured out later that my nemesis might have reared its ugly head yet again--- pythium. root rot.
yesterday i let the babies do their thing. no growth. so today i went into emergency mode and extracted the babies from their medium, sprayed the soil out of the roots with h2o and examined them.
completely white. im at a loss now. just for good measure is sterilized everything, rinsed the roots in 3 parts h2o, 1 part h2o2, and transplanted the babies into new sterile soil. well see how that goes.
my nute regimen has been the 2-10-2 or whatever in the mg soil plus mg tomato food that is 18-21-18. ive been putting a tbsp in each gal.
any ideas?
