I don't know what the hell happened yesterday she was all perked up and earlier today she was perfectly fine. But after work I came home and found that she was all bent and soft. I don't know what the hell is going on. The only difference I gave her 1/2 teaspoon to gallon of water at 6.5 PH. I added two clone plants in the cabinet. That is the only things different. earlier I was giving her 1/4 teaspoon to gallon of water. I'm using Fox Farm Grow Big Nutes. please help!!!

here's some pictures of the bent stems and a pic of how she looked yesterday.

WHat are you using the adjust the pH?
How often are you feeding?
How often are you watering?

When you water do you water until you see run off?

There is some serious lockout going on here....... for something like this to happen; it was a buildup over time and it looks to me you have too much nutes in her, she has clawing and her colorings are off and she shows like she has some overwatering to her upper leaves.....

I would flush her out with a lot of water.... what size pots are your plant in? IS there more than one plant per pot?

hey stitch you were helping me earlier, I just needed to post this seperately because of urgency. thanks, but it's not lock out. She is actually getting better. The problem was just underwatering majorly. I didn't water her good enough. No there is only one plant in the pot. That's Runt J!

Have never seen a plant have curling leaves like that due to underwatering.......

Yes I know I was helping you earlier, you asked why she was like that and I gave you your answer, if you already knew what was wrong why make a thread?

Severe over nitrofication, the claw....THE CLAW! seriously though the leaves show classic symptoms of too much nitrogen.Whether or not it is related to the bendy stem problem or not, you should try to cut down on the nitrogen a bit.

thanks, that's what the claw is that? Shit, why didn't somebody say something to me? gosh I feel like a dumb ass, what do you recommend then? I'm using Fox Farm Grow Big, half recomended dose. I was using Tiger Bloom, but that's when the clawing really started. Tiger Bloom, is not heavy Nitrogen it's heavy in Phosphorus. So I don't really know? Please help, cause now I'm super confused....

Stitch,

no, I didn't know what was wrong with my plant. I found out pretty much all my problems, through you. I never encountered, so much problems in a grow ever. I'm used to not using really much any nutes at all. I appreciate all your help, although. It's a big learning process.

Some plants are really sensitive to nitrogen, some plants can handle more than the recomended dose of a particular fertilizer, some can only handle a fraction. Also even if a food has a low nitrogen number on the bag , it depends on what kind of nitrogen it is to further confuse the issue ammoniacal nitrogen is fast acting and the plant absorbs it very quickly, nitrate nitrogen is slower acting but lingers a bit longer...it's hard to say.If you were giving half dose and got a claw like this I would say this is a sensitive strain. If it were my plant I would give a real good flush say 3 times the volume of the soil with water, but even after you get the excess nitrogen out- the claws won't really get better, those claws will be there 'til the end but at least any new leaves won't get it.When it comes to food I like to use a three part formula for food ,modified lucas formula, this allows you to dial in what a plant likes, but unless you are really alert to what a plant is telling you it can be a bit of a steep learning curve. There are lots of formulas for various foods to be found in the threads here.If you are looking for simplicity I have heard good things about pure blend pro, or GH floranova bloom one part, can be a bit of a pain to mix though.I'm sure others have experience on the foods you are using and perhaps could recommend a dosage for it...but without knowing the plant it can be a bit of hit and miss.It can be a bit tricky to change foods part way through....I think it is safe to say that this plant doesn't like too much nitrogen though.I am going to assume that you didn't use any stunters like phosphoload as they can mimick the symptoms of over nitrofication.

I gave her a big flush, and she perked up a whole lot. Her leaves are beginning to open up more, but those new shoots that where coming out at the time of the Nitrogen Toxification are all fucked up. I don't know if those leaves are going to come out ok or not. But Seems like she might still be a little N Toxified. Another flush before flowering? Or Could I go into flowering? I'll post new pics later today. thanks Archivist

I'd wait a coupla days, give her a bit more time to recover before you initiate.

Nitrogen toxcitiy as long as the leaves are not overly damaged the green color will come back after a really good flush and easing up on the nutes.......

You people have me a bit worried. Won't some haze plant curl no matter what? This is a johnny blaze (neville's haze x true blueberry) and she curled once flowering started, but I did start a booster at the same time. I hope I am not killing then. I have notice lots of lower leaves die off, but I am at 40 days.

If there flimsy tie them to a stick.. straight up.

Water ONCE A WEEK or when soil is dry.

Shit that's how my Runt started with some Nitrogen toxicity. I dont' know what you are going to do since you are flowering?

Do you think I should start flowering?

Never start flowering when you have problems with your plants, you cause delayed flowering stress and lower yield so make sure they are happy and perky before sticking them in there....

your plants look over watered and too much nitrogen.

The overwatering is just last weeks recovery, and this past week she's just getting over her N toxicity. So as of now, she's doing really well and growing to damn big for my cabinet. That's how i know she's doing better, since she's getting crowded in the cabinet. Any suggestions?
