Help something aint right!! Nute lock up? Over water?

Ok my my friends things have gotten ugly I think, Kinda a long story but theres some history and few things I need to mention. Ive never grown in RW or cocomat and Im having one hell of a time. I used to do alot of DWC with the Lucas Formula and really never had a issue. 1" cubes for clones and that was it.
I had a perpetual Scrog box for a long time and no worries, using gh nutes at 0-5-10 and 0-8-16 I never had a problem. But this time Im not sure wtf is going on. I ditched the DWC tub for few reasons, 1 res temps were killing me and 2 I don't like all the room it takes in the grow, This is a personal med grow and is in a closet that 42" x 32" under 1 600wat hps. by ditching the 18" high dwc tub for a 7" tall ebb n fl tray I thought I was making progress.
Now The rez is a 25 gallon tub outside the gro so it stays cool and is easier to monitor then screwing with a rez with plants in it. Anyhow back to the problem at hand.

I got some OG and Afghan clones that were just barely rooted, then I got a few strains from a friend in 4" cubes, They were just barly rooted to.
The 4" cubes were being fed un ph'd gh nutes at I have no idea what strentgh before I got them? I just know he aint got a ph meter.

I put the ones not in cubes in 3" RW cubes and under the T5 for 5 days I also put the 4" cubes in there. They seem to be fine. I was feeding them 1/2 strength 0-5-10 in r/o at 5.8.
So then I got the tray set up under the 600 and put them in there.
24" from the light, Set my timer to feed them 2 times a day by flooding the tray to 1/2" up the rw cubes. I did this for 2 days with
full strentgh 0-8-16! I ran my clones at this stage under a 430 in dwc at 0-8-16 so I thought it was cool. Then Im reading and reading and seeing folks feed them 300 ppms and work there way up? Huh! Ive always used the tub and full strength? So now there growing super slow!!! Theres purple stalks on 2 of them? The new growth is light green, theres red viens on the back of the leafs.

I did a water run off test and that was fun!! That came back around 6.1-6.2. I stopped watering them on the cycle with the timer as there small and looking ill! Nothing looks moldie! The cocomatt seems to get real dry. My plants really dont look like any of the pics in the disease thread, except the over-watered one. Im not sure wtf is going on, Ive never killed a plant. Ive flushed the crap out of them a couple days ago, then feed them again! this time with 0-5-10 at 1/2 strentgh, Im not sure what to do.
I have had them on 24hr light since Ive got them.
I'm this close to building another dwc tank and switching over.
I'm not sure how to diagnose them or fix them. the cubes don't feel all that wet, although there now stuck to the mat so I cant really pic them up. there's black crap on the top of the cubes but I do have covers on them?
I'm gonna try and post up a pic if I can. Light green, small skinny leafs, purple stems and new growth is green but the purple climbs.
For some reason the clones I used to put in the dwc tub would kinda tweak out for a day or so and then explode with new growth, these tweaked out and havnt quit done much since. the viens on top of the leafs are deep, Im tripp'n!

Any help or ideas?
Not sure how I supposed to feed them. Lucas got the formula from a dude that ran ebb n flo, and Lucas has always recommended at 0-8-16 while under HID's. I spent alot of time at OG and CW back in day. Did alot of 400 watt dwc med gro box's. This time around I thought Id be smart and maintenance free and its reared its head! By now Id be 1 week deep into 12/12 and I cnt get these little girls to budge! I know they aint dying but something is wrong.

Runs 24/7 with the light 24/7 if its gonna be a cold eve I turn the exhaust off every 15 mins for 15 mins, the temp rises to about 82 and then lowers again to about 70. I do this because the area gets its intake air from outside.
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? Yes and oscilating
Is your water HARD or SOFT? R/O 5 ppm.
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water?
Are you using water from a water softener?
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched. Just spread a bit and tied down here n there.
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? Sprayed them once for mites with some spray from the hydro store. There gone. Spray says to spray once a week? I sprayed each one on the undersides one time.They came to me with mites

First off I will admit that I have not read your entire post thoroughly. it's just too long - WHAT is the problem? Most people here will just scan posts for a specific problem/question.

300 ppm and working your way up is for seedlings, not clones. Clones are the same age as their mother plant. Although I'd start low with clones too, personally.

Lucas formula is 0-8-16 under HIDs and 0-5-10 under fluorescents.

Black things on RW is normal. See pics in one of my previous posts on the subject.

How often do you flood the trays? How long do they take to drain?

Sorry for the long post, I figured Id do some backround info as well. twice a day tell now, takes about 1 min to drain. Im only using a 36 x 22 x 7 tray, Im really thinking overwater, theres 1 4" cube that isnt connected and it looks to wet to me on the bottom. A few of them seem to be getting better. but the worse one is right here.
And I got a few doing this type of stuff to.
The leafs are blotchy. and the new growth is green but slow. Im used to explosive growth and these babies are in 1 st gear still.

what do you think guys? I dont see burn or nute deficiency, Just deep ridges on the fans and purple stocks and some curl! Is there a quick easy way to dry out the cubes?
I was thinking of adding hydroton around the RW on top of the cocomat? I did make the mistake of peeling the 1" matt in 1/2 so its only 1/2",Maybe the roots are getting a little light thru the coco? I soaked the hydroton rocks over night in R/O ph'd to 4.5, and now there soaking at about 5.5 ph. I was gonna lay them out now on a towel to dry out and then pour like a gallon or 2 of the rocks over the coco matt to help insulate the roots, maybe help soak up some extra moisture in the cubes and also help keep moisture and humidity up in the root zone. I think at night it gets a bit cold in the root zone. Also should I be running 18/6? DWC I always went to 24/7 veg but in Ebb n Flo maybe its better to give them rest?
Also whats a good feeding schedule for Lucas formula and E n F? Im using no cal-mag.
I do have epson salts if needed and also Hydrogen peroxide.

Id like to save these weeds!!

I read that 20/4 is optimal, but 18/6 shouldn't result in stunted growth. To speed up drying you can decrease humidity, and in your case perhaps increase the time between each flood? How are the roots looking?

I think they need to dry out a bit mate,... I dont know how over watering works in flood/drain, but from the medium up they look heavily over watered to me (in my limted experiance).. if this was soil I would say that was definitely the case....

Thanks, I agree over watered for sure!! Im gonna dry out the cubes best I can, Stop watering for awhile at least 4 days, Pull the 600 watt light up another 4" and see how we do. She's not locked up or over ferted so will see! Roots are prolly wat to wet, no oxygen in the root zone. So I got to wait it out.

Are they overwatered? I wish somebody else would chime in. I have no experience with Rockwool but it's supposed to hold a lot of oxygen. Definitely don't squeeze it together. That would probably destroy it's oxygen holding properties and make it one giant non-porous lump.

Yes there overwatered!! Now Im using white paper towels twisted into rope like pieces around the base of each cube, Ive done it twice and there filling up with mousture. Ive got about 1/2 cup so far this way. Im just gonna keep it up tell there starting to come back, Im also gonna go lights out for 6 hrs tell they come back as well.

I managed to get them dryed out pretty good, I raised the 600 watter up another foot from 2 to 3 ft. Im running 65 watts per sq ft in the closet. I then pulled the fan off them directly, I got a "Speedster" fan dimmer so I can dial in the "lights on" temp which at night was 68-69. I dimmed the blower tell I reached 75* lights on. I started to flood the tray once a day with 0-5-10 for 2 days, Yesterday I upped the res nutes to 1200 ppm 0-8-16 just ever so slightly dilluted. For me I think it was that "Funk" period when clones are rooted and you have them in "limbo" on no nutes just kinda staying stagnent. Then I threw them under the HID and feed them like they were a heard of cattle. They didnt like that. They wanted to be eased back into the HID and eased backed into nutes. i scared the hell out of them.
In DWC they would tripp maybe 2 days then explode. Im just happy there happy again. I still got 1 Hindu Kush that needs some extra tlc but well see.
Nevertheless this RW stuff is tricky. Not K.I.S.S.But there back on the Rd to recoverie. I was tripping out, This is a weed, Its hard as hell to kill a weed! My weeds were dying!! I do wanna say thank to all that chimed in and to Lucas for his friendly chat this week! Thanks for the love!!
Gonna veg them now for another 3-5 days tell there thriving well and switch it!
