[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Hi, I will plant some seeds and I want to plant some top shelf and hight THC cannabis. I prefer indica or indica hybrid because of the flowering time. There are a lot of strains, a lot of seeds and bank seeds and I made a pre selection of some:

White Widow - White Label ( Sensi Seeds)
Critical Kush - Barneys Farm
Critical Kush . Dinafem
Purple Afghan Kush - Dinafem
Tahoe OG - The Cali Conection
Flowerbomb Kush - Strain Hunters
Paink Killer - Dr Underground
Lost Cost OG - Humboldt Seed Org
Critical Sensi Star - Delicious Seeds

Has someone tried these strains and from this banks?
What can you say about the quality of the smoke?
Please I need some help

I got Sensi Star as a freebie last year and I still have a cut in my garden. I just took one down yesterday. The sativa pheno. Might be my favorite today. Have not tried the white widow but my next order I intend to try Mr. Nice Black Widow.

I'm running BF Critical Kush right now.
[It is growing circles around a lot of decent genetics. Mad Vegging!]

I have always read that Sensi Star is good stuff but low productive. Pain Killer from Dr Underground is a cross from Sensi Star (Paradise Seeds)x White Russian (Serious Seeds) and Critical Sensi Star from Delicious Seeds is a cross of Critical Bilbo x Sensi Star. Both crosses are made to increase production. My question is if the power of hight remains.
I have also the doubt if American Strains are now better than "Amsterdam" strains because of legalization and recent researchs?

i would not spend my own money on any of those

you should look into Archive Seeds, Bodhi Seeds, and Karma Genetics

all of them are putting out extreme fire, reg seeds only

Bodhi and Karma both have Strain guides here in ICMg,

Absolute fire from their strains according to all the pics and posts and # real (non HT) competitions won

Archive also has many threads easy to search and see but the Archive Strain guide has been taken down by admin b/c of the supported vendors thing

Ace seeds
Bodhi seeds
Bog seeds
Canabiogen seeds
Karma genetics

Can't miss with any of those seed companies. If you have to go with old school seeds I would recommend Serious seeds White Russian. Very uniform plants, easy to grow, great yield, and shovel to the head potent.

Good luck!

I am a voracious reader. Voracious my friend.

I gotta see it to believe it. Show me.
Delicious Seeds Cheese Candy was impressive and an easy chill plant to grow. The Sensi Star produced but the original mother was grown initially in too hot a mix so she got pissed and stayed that way. Cuts in a cooler mix might refute what ypu read but then yield is often a pie in the sky figure. Lets talk about results in the toke.

Barney's Farm Critical Kush is a producer by any measure except for the most righteous jaded mac daddies.

I seent it with my own eyes and it is bearing out right in front of me in seedling form. Period. Yield is a long way from where I am....

Word on the street is Bohdi has the lightning as well as b.o.g. and this cat Mr, Soul might have fire as well.

This may be.

I am vegging my first ACE gear so I can not say, but the volumes of documentation on this outfit cannot be denied and they work some with Cannabiogen I guess so there's that.

I recommend you grow a Senior Garcia or a Dank Zappa based on what I find when I get away from the din of the seed marketeer .

Who knows till you grow it. Cure it and toke it. Every ones head is different.:tiphat:

I'd recommend Green House Seed Chemdog. Check out my Album. Am hitting 2+ gpw, going for 3+ this round. Top notch strain, never build a tolerance to her. Taste great, smoke is so smooth to the lungs. Beautiful hash from her. High is among the best I've ever smoked next to Ace's Oldtimer's Haze.

Not sure if I am too late to the party but I wouldn't spend money on any of the seeds OP listed either.
None of them are noteworthy or reputable breeders, some of them actually represent everything that is wrong in the seed biz...

If you want White Widow, go with Black Widow from Mr. Nice (which is the original).
If you want anything Kush go with Karma, Archive, Rare Dankness or Bodhi.

Anything "classical" like Afghani, Skunk, Northern Lights, Hazes and such, Mr. Nice.
Anything Sativa, landrace, "pure" strains: Ace, Cannabiogen

People love BOG's gear. Would grow it too if I could get it in EU for a decent price.

But all of the breeders OP listed are classic n00b-traps imho. Terrible choice. Not knocking you but suggesting you do more research and you will be happier with the end result.
Ain't nobody who knows what they are talking about and growing Dinafem and being convinced with what they got...

some good info in this thread. I'm taking notes as I'm also just getting back into the swing of things and my oh my has the seed bank biz changed since it all started getting popular 20 years ago LOL

Bodhi has a huge following here on IC.
I opted against his gear because it is so heavily crossed. Not much "pure" to be found in Bodhi's gear.

Basically I want to do the same thing Bodhi did and for that would rather have some more "pure" lines and genetics.

No doubt some of the "best" strains are heavily crossed hybrids with many strains included. But I would rather do that heavy crossing myself.

Would also have liked some pure Chemdog seeds to find out what the fuss with that line is about i.e. make my own "OG Kush" and "Diesel" lines and see for myself why everyone so cray about those.
Alas, the only "pure" chemdog seeds I could find are from Reservoir and as stoned-trout said, that shit's bad karma yo. Besides they are hella old now and don't germ well apparently.

So I chose Rare Dankness (Karma and Archive were close) and will "see what's up" with the US genetics craze.

But yeah, much has changed in the seed biz.
I would say a good 80% of so called "breeders" are nothing else but hot air spewing hobbyists with little more knowledge or expertise than what is provided here on the boards.
Many traps and very few actually solid breeders who's gear is worth it.
Hard to find your way through that jungle and what's even worse: it makes it so much harder for new breeders to break onto the scene because it is hard to distinguish them from all the fakers...
