i have a question... i've been killing seeds for the past couple of days i dunno why... they start germinating and then when i put them in my grow box, they either grow mold or they turn brown and just die... i'm using rain water, in a soiless mixand guano... i managed to keep some alive though... i used to always see them grow but just lately something went wrong... you think its ventilation?

Don't put any guano in the mix for seedling unless its far in the bottom of a big pot. Seedlings dont need food and they can't handle it. I dont give my plant anything but light and water for atleast 3 weeks of growth before i give it food of any kind. I bet the guano is your problem. it is a very effective fertilizer if used correctly.

to much water,do not feed them anything, Make sue your not using 2 strong of a light at that age. Use good soil,

take the seeds and drop them into a smal shot glass. do not let them sink if possible. After there in there for 12hrs you might See some tails. take them all out and place them into paper towel well moisten but not flooded. Place the paper towel into a zip lock bag to keep the humidity high. The ones that have tails can be put into 12oz beer cups with FFLW. Put the bag on a warm surface like your PS3/XBOX,Seed Mat.

If your using a soilless medium you need to add all the amendments to that soil unless your doing coco. I would not use this for seedlings. Get a bag of FFLW this is for seedlings. Use this until there large enough to transplant. Then you can start using nutrients all low dosages

Good Luck

:gday: hi there, use a seed raising mixture or jiffy pellets for after the seeds have sprouted, dont use any fertiliser until the first true set of leaves are well growing, then use a light food mix, prob only a quarter of the recommended dose. cheers oz
