hey team! i really need everybodies help on this one. my problem is powdery mildew. i searched the forum a little but found only debatable solutions. my garden of dj short f13s is under attack from this sickening problem. please im desperate here. anybody with real expirience controlling this stuff, help me! i just noticed today that my clones that are vegging are also stricken with this stuff. what can i do? i dont have the funds for a sulfur burner or anything like that. if you know a way to terminate this problem without recommending i buy expensive machines, i really need to know. i dont have many resources within reach at the moment so home remedies are the answer. i heard about a baking soda/ water mixture that is supposed to work but im apprehensive because i ruined a beautiful plant a few years ago with the mixture. i think i made it too strong or something. please help me save my crop. the ganja gods will bless you. thank you sincerely.

Keyword: "Serenade" at your local nursery. It also sounds like your grow room has one or more problems: humidity issues, dense foliage near the soil level, possible temperature, over watering and inadequate air circulation especially in the soil zone.

Next go around have a sulfur vaporizer hanging from the hook in your GR ceiling. Save up the coins, Feed the Pig.

ok i just looked in cervantes bible he says use a product called serenade and make sure u get rid of leaves with mildew.he also says baking soda and water.

I always use neem oil. Eleven bucks at Lowes. (last time I looked) It has worked every time. Plus it's great for killing spider mites. I would suggest pulling off as many infected leaves as possible first. I have even sprayed fully budding plants just a week or so from harvest. The only negative effect I have noticed is that it turns the pistils brown. I haven't noticed any problems with potency. Even if it does make it less potent, it's better than smoking mold.
If you really want to go low budget, add a tablespoon of baking soda per gallon of water and spray the hell out of them. For your clones, mix it (or the neem) in a bucket and dip them in it head first. Don't drench the soil with neem water. I tried that once to try and kill gnats and almost killed my plants.
Also check your humidity, especially when the lights are off. PM loves an acid environment with temperatures between 60-70°F (15-21°C) with a humidity above 50%. In the future, keep a close eye on those girls. The sooner you catch it the better.

you guys are right. see, i just moved into a new spot and still havent ironed out all the wrinkles. my veg room isvery unpredictable right now. moving mid crop has created more problems than i would like to mention. but in good time i will dial this one in. i will try the neem if this other treatment fails. i used a 1:20 mixture of milk/water. supposedly the lactic acid kills the pm. we shall see. thanks all. i feel better knowing that neem may work. i need to re up on that stuff anyway.

Dude I can tell you what exactly works

SM 90

I was battling PM a while ago, it was recommended to be by the hydro shop guy. I am recommending it to you. Worked great for me

You can pull off the leaves, but your best bet is to just spray this stuff on the plant as a foliar spray, and add a small amount to your feeding, powdery mildew is systemic and lives inside your plant, just pulling the leaves off will really not do anything to fix the problem.

Good luck man

i think then grizzer, thats what happened. my temps dropped a few days ago. caught me off guard. then the pm showed up.

dr.dog. sm90? never heard of it. i will google it and see how hard it is to get for me.

i sprayed the plants lightly with the milk mixture tonight. it didnt want to over do it being this is two weeks before harvest but i didnt want to let it go and take the chance of ruining the crop. man this shit is stressful. never had this problem before.
