I just flippped my lights into flower I let them set with lights off for 18 hrs so I could get on a schedule that suited me better. My issue is when I opened my tent I noticed powdery mildew just starting on the leaf of my wifi 43 clone I brought home a little less than 2 weeks ago frm a club I kno it's my own fault for trusting a dispensary for clones they looked really clean and healthy and was only way to get this cut. I have dealt with PM on 1 other indoor grow but didn't catch until week 4 flowering and it was a nightmare.. So far I've sprayed serenade and picked off all infected leafs is there anyway I can beat this or am I screwed?? I really need this grow to come thru.

What is the humidity into your tent? Did you spray the leaves or something like that they look wet? Why would you spray it? I never spray my plants with water.

Oh and my rh is is 40-50% not high at all.. I'm stumped I think letting it sit for 18hr in the dark with no fan is what sparked it. Last time I had it was 2 yrs ago so it surely isn't frm spores left over from then. Not sure how long it pm can stay viable for?

Fans and dehumidifier running twenty four hours a day will help.
Spores are ever present and just waiting for conditions to be favorable to get busy all over your plants.
At lights out temperatures drop and humidity goes up triggering spores to germinate( possibly the wrong term).
You need an integrated pest management plan to keep this from happening again.
I grew for over twenty five years before I ever dealt with pm, but after moving to a new building had to learn to cope.
Foliar sprays always seemed risky to me before pm hit, these days every plant gets sprayed weekly with a weak potassium silicate solution at the very least.
Good luck.

Green cure worked well for me.

I try and keep the temps as stable as possible between lights on and off, I stay way low on the humidity levels as well. I have heard the temp drop and rh spike at lights out is a key culprit and the argument makes sense, so I just try and keep those two variables constant and outside of ideal mold growing parameters.

Increase fresh air exchange and control nightly temp swings.

If your day time temps are high and night time temps drop much lower, this may be enough to cause condensation from large temperature swings which in good for PM.

Ive finished plants that got pm in flower on day one. I use ozone water.

Looks like u need air moving at ground level/ plants soil level.

The higher humidity from the soil level is sometimes enough to cause pm on only the leaves closest to the soil level I've noticed.

I dont remove pm leaves until they are badly infected. I like to kill the pm with ozone and then get the most outta my leaf and not remove it until i feel I have to

That's just me tho.. pm will bring about the widest variety of input for treatments...

Speaking of green cure I have 3/4 of a tub left over from an outdoor run 2 years ago that's when I learned how easily pm spreads it flowed me to both my outdoor grows that year and my indoor that sucked!! lessons learned never wear the same pare of clothes when taking care of multiple gardens.

Spray them with honey. It has anti fungal properties, and your plants will love it. 1 part honey to 3 parts water. No more PM

Low RH and air movement works great for stuff like that. The serenade also helped I'm sure.

I was starting to have something also and I increased my air movement. That really helped me.

I have seen PM on my outdoor sativas, in full sun, on a breezy balcony... it is in the environment here, so nothing to do with air movement, RH etc.

You will not believe how effective a 30% milk spray is (70% water, + a little soap) is.......I also have Eagle 20, but will never touch it again, milk is amazingly effective, hard to believe, till you try

:tiphat:
I've read about honey's anti-fungal properties before. Have you tried this? Any noticeable affect on flower taste?
I do feel fortunate to be in climate where pm no problem. And yeah, I would always lower rh if possible before attempting anything else. You guys in high rh climates should probably run your rh lower than suggested vpd for the anti fungal properties.

Well the thing is outdoor under the sun your at the mercy of Mother Nature so it's very hard if not impossible to completely control temp and humidity. I youst to grow at my uncles on his porch and always got pm on a few plants and could only control it with a spray and genetics. Indoors is a whole other story you can completely control your environment so ur humidity is low and temps are very stable that's what I think is key to completely getting rid of the pm as this is the first time Ive seemed to actually do it! It's also my first tent I think that makes it easier!".
