ok guys, simple help, I have a feeling I am fucking up on something simple, like not monitering my soil ph, or not enough air flow, so gimme your best input and I'd appreciate it. This grow was put on me last minute by a friend who put his seed into a pot outside and let it flower immediately, temps were getting cold outside so I took it for him and made a cab fast, however Im having issues with the leaves furling down in the past week or so. Its in the 6th week of flower (+/- 1 week) so do your best and lemme know what my plan of attach should be to get this girl healthy! Thx

using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) n/a
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* general hydroponics 2 tbsp flower, 1 tbsp veg, 1 tbsp micro (per gallon) I water once every 3-4 days and use maybe 1/4 liter
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? no meter... :/
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? have yet to check

My guess is overfeeding. Cut the Micro to one teaspoon (5ml) per gal and the Bloom to two teaspoons (10) per gal. Dump the green stuff (Grow), it's worthless. Its the 0 in the 0-8-16 Lucas Formula

Personally, I believe Lucas is, at 0-8-16, too strong. You're running a 15-15-30 solution.

Too much nitrogen for the amount of light and air flow, far too little exhaust (you need plenty of fresh CO2 rich air), pot too small for that plant, make sure you let the soil dry out slightly between watering.
Re-pot into fresh soil, just a slightly larger pot like a gallon polypot, get a proper exhaust in there, and you should be rockin.

Thx Freezerboy, i take it luca's 0-8-16 is ideal for late flower? You gave me some good insight, and i appreciate it. Ill cut back on strength of the solution for surely.

Stinkyattic--Thx for the info on the pot size and air flow, Ill make sure to at least get an oscillating one for expelling the hotness, but Im a complete n00b when it comes to wiring (for ex, a 4" x 4" fan) so that it can be converted to a plug...guess Ill just have to suck it up and get my shit going if I want to grow with any success.

Thanks again you 2

Let me guide you;)
You got home depot around?
Inline duct booster fan, 4"- about $20
Power tool replacement cord, grounded- about $5
Bag of wire nuts- $2
Black to black
White to white
Twist ends and cap with wire nut.
Green to ground, make a 'J' in the end of the green wire and screw in the green ground nut so that it secures the J in place.
Plug in and you are good to grow.

It works for many but, my last grow preferred 0-3-6. I prefer to think of it as proportions. 1:1 in the beginning. 2:1 for aggressive veg growth. 1:2 for flowering. Exact numbers are determined through EC readings. EC goes up, too rich. EC goes down, too lean.

Reminds me of my first florescent light adventure...love it.

^^^ I still have about a half-dozen of these rigs laying in a heap in the corner of my cellar from Grows of Yesteryear, next to 4' T12s with blown ballasts... *sigh... they've since been replaced by Ks and 400cfms... I need to find me a Grasshopper to pass them on to.

^^^^^ ME ME ME!!!! :) lol, I'd gladly take the "vestiges of experience" if you will :p

General question, however, for my general hydro nutes: Assuming, as Im pretty sure we have, that I have over nuted with GH grow +micro+flower should i flush before going back to 1tsp/gal of micro+flower?

And specifically how many waterings should I do this for? ex. flush daily or flush @ the same 1 time each 3-4 days once the soil has dried up a bit??

Thx again for everyone who has put in great feedback!! You guys are the best

You just need to flush once. Problem is that you are definitely going to want to monitor your pH because a nutrient system intended for hydro is not going to buffer in the same range (~6.7) that you want for a soil grow, and especially with a mix based on peat, you are likely to see a sharp drop in pH once the lime is gone. If you can't/don't want to keep track of that, consider something like Pure Blend Pro or Canna Terra that buffers for soil.

And don't forget to hold back on your watering.
