1000 watt was a 12 inch away moved to about 30. this started happening when i went into flower. i am at about 1200ppm using botanicare pro and liquid karma

botaincare nutes around 1200 ppm
co2 in res (prob started b 4 that)
1000 watt flood and drain. top of hydroton is dry because the very top doesnt get flooded last inch or so.
so far just used grow and bloom pro and liquid karma. i think i need cal mag 2 but havnt got. also will use clearex eventually for flush
tap water ph 6.9 ppm 200
i had some early probs with ph and temp which may have caused but new leafes still showing a little of this as you can see
this is day 33 flower my plant on day 3 next to it hasnt shwon any probs yet but also on dif rez

All right, the edges are burned. Could be room temps, but I think you're running your mix too hot. If I were to run 1200ppm (@700 conversion) my breakdown would be something like this:

Ro water/Cal mag.....400ppm
Gro grow........400ppm
Liquuid Karma .....aprox 100-150ppm
Sweet.............200ppm
Plus cannazyme etc.

Loco they look nuteburned to me. I'd back your mix down (just dilute it) and watch your ph and ppm daily.. Numbers rising daily? Too much. Numbers lowering daily? Not enough.

PLUS regular res changes to restore proper nutrient ratios is a must imo. There's absolutely no way to tell once the plant has touched the solution, what the NUTE RATIOS are. You can only read a TOTAL numbers....not ratios. Does that make sense? Your nutes go in at certain amounts but there is not way to tell what the plant itself is eating, what it is leaving behind (nutewise) and the ppm from plant waste in general. That's why I consider res changes VERY important.

Except that you are in flowering so instead of Pro Grow I would be using Pro Bloom. Otherwise everything else stays the same. except for:

RO water/Cal MAg 300ppm
Pro Bloom 500ppm

Still equaling 800 between the two main nutes (yep I consider CalMAg a main nute because I use RO water) but at a different RATIO.

yea i read it and have a thread about the co2 in res kinda crazy results but he needed a more controlled test but still looks promising.
thanks for all the help yea i think i deen a rez change to it try and do it every 2 weeks. but i top off every other day or so with new water and 1/4 nutes but i am only using bloom and liquid karma. bout to pick up some cal mag.
what is sweet? and whats it used for

Sweet is a supplement that add carbs for more density to your buds. Lot's of people use molassass (much cheaper) but I've never been quite able to get the hang of that.....when I tried it fried the CRAP out of my plants so now i stick to Sweet. Made by same folks.

C02 in rez?

Ummm, yea dude, dont put co2 into ur res!!! Roots need O2, not co2...co2 will kill them...thats prolly your first prob...ur PPM's seem a bit too high as well for the stage ur at, and if ur lite was 12" away, and a 1000, then u def got some lite burn too...IMHO, I say lower ur PPM's, check ur pH and temps and make sure the lite is 24-30'' above the canopy...make sure u got good air circ too...its amazing how much a fan will do for ur plants...I always have an oscillatin fan on my girls 24/7....Peace

Hydroton dries out pretty quickly, and cant be over watered. I flood mine every 15 minutes with no ill effects, and that's with the plants started in some 1inch rockwool cubes.

Thanks.......I always thought it should be kept pretty wet as well. Thanks for the tip. When I used it in drip, I ran it 24/7.

thanks for everyones help . i took a look at my roots today and ends are slightly brown should i do something to fix? still vegging for 20 more days b 4 flower
