Hi

Can someone give me some advice please?

I started of some sativa beans about three weeks ago, they germed ok, and the seedlings grew normaly, but for a couple of weeks they have just stayed the same size and havent grown at all.

The two baby leaves are turning yellow and the seedlings do look kinda pale green.

What do you think I should do?

I havent fed any nutes yet, just been watering with rainwater.

Help!

Low nutrients . . .

Low nutrients . . .

Try giving them a 1/4 nutrient solution for a few waterings, if they respond increase slowly to 1/2, then full strength (do not exceed!).

What lights are you using and how close are they?

Check the pH of your water/solution, this is a must to get right.

Check your potting mix. Get a seedling mix to give them a good start. I had problems like that with MG mix. Cost me a few weeks of production. I've got it straight now.

kinda sounds like your overwatering...yellowing leaves at bottom...stunted growth...lime green...all sounds like overwatering...seedlings can be overwatered very easily...thats my opinion

And thats my opinion also.Plants become overwatered most often not because of frequent waterings but because of poor drainage. Are you using perlite and have clear drainholes? What size containers are you in?Its especially easy to overwater seedlings when they reside in a mansion.A 4 inch or 2 pint nursery container should be the first home for seedlings and new cuts.

I have taken the seedlings out of thier 3 inch pots, some of them were really looking sad.

I have carefully taken each seedling out of each pot and washed away the old soil mix from the roots, I had some rapid rooters and I split them and carefully laid the roots systems of the seedlings inside each rooter, I have given them a drink of a weak nute solution and now I am going to get some proper seedling compost, I used an ordinary compost mix and I dont think they liked it.

Overwatering was not the problem I think.

THanks for your advice.

I would be happy to know if I had been overwatering them, It;s just that I don't think I have been, when I empited the pots the soil was barely damp at the bottom and quite dry through the rest of it.

Anyway thanks for the advice.
